I do a ‘save me’ collection at our local Sainsbury’s through the Olio app, and am drowning in free bread and doughnuts! All the food has a best before date of yesterday (09/04) but all still good for eating/toasting/freezing. No-one in the village (Middleton St George) seems to use Olio as requests have been minimal. Now my freezer is full and I need help saving this perfectly good food from the bin. Please download the Olio app and request as many doughnuts as you and your kids can possibly eat 😃😅

Acorn chair lifts (Fishergate YO10)
The chair lifts were installed in June 2025 to enable my wife to get upstairs. The lifts are sequential - one leads to the other. They worked extremely well. At the end of December my wife’s condition changed and she was unable to use the chair lifts. It has recently become clear that this change cannot be alleviated - so we no longer have a use for the chair lifts.
