Kidde carbon monoxide alarm in working order, ideal from autumn onwards to warn of carbon monoxide escape in homes with gas boilers, gas fires, wood-burning stoves etc. Recommended by Which? as a Best Buy, bought from new 3 years ago but no longer needed as household no longer has gas. Can be positioned free-standing or can be mounted to a wall and provided complete with box, batteries, instructions, wall-mounting plate, screws and wall fixings. Can save lives provided that the instructions are followed and that the unit is tested regularly. Model no. is Kidde 2030-DCR, bought in October 2023. Designed to last at least 10 years after which it will generate a message advising replacement (approx. October 2033). See photos for further details.
