- This is a bulb that flowers in spring an early source of pollen for bees. At the moment it looks grass like, the flowers that come open in the sun. It is an underrated wild flower and is quick to establish. The star shaped flowers are brilliant white and bloom in April or May. It will then receive the back into the ground until next year. Very easy to grow and requires no special treatment. Plant as soon as the ground is workable. I have a few bulbs if you want to plant them for next year. In full sun.
