Traditional Japanese Tatami Mat (Bayswater W2)
Traditional Japanese tatami mat — woven igusa (rush grass) surface over a firm core, finished with black cloth heri edging stitched along both long sides. New this costs over 100GBP, I am giving it away from free because I need to clear the flat to move out. This is a proper full-thickness tatami, not a thin roll-up beach or yoga mat. It's rigid, it holds its shape, and it has that distinctive fresh rush-grass smell. Roughly 180cm × 90cm and about 3cm thick. Great as a meditation or zazen platform, a futon base, a dojo / stretching surface, or simply as a floor feature in a Japanese-styled room. CONDITION Used and in good order. Staining/discolouration through the centre from a sofa mat, and the middle has compressed slightly with use. No tears, burns or damage; edging fully intact. Rigid — does not fold. COLLECTION ONLY from W2 4QS (Queensway, London W2). It's rigid and does not roll or fold, so you'll need an estate car, a van, or a roof rack — it will not go in a hatchback boot upright.

Acrylic so shatterproof and lightweight. One 193cm high x 102cm wide Two 184cm high x 72cm wide All measurements include frame. Each light enough to be lifted by one person (though the largest is more awkward owing to its size). All were sliding doors for built-in wardrobes. All good for bringing light and a feeling of space into a room.

Bottom bed: double, 150 x 190 cm Top bed: single, 90 x 190 cm Solid wood, painted white, with guard rail and ladder for the top bunk. Good used condition (a few paint scuffs). Honest note: one of the supports gave way a while back, so we fitted an extra solid wooden leg underneath — it's completely stable and solid now (you can see it in the photos). Just being upfront. Mattresses not included. You'll need to dismantle it and collect from Chiswick, W4. Must be collected by Thursday 14 August.
