‘Vintage’ stereo receiver and record player (Seven Dials BN1)
Promised
‘Vintage’ stereo receiver and record player from the 1980s. The radio receiver still works well. I have not tried the record player. These are Canadian and 110 volt so would require a step down transformer, and speakers are not included. Nevertheless they seem too good to throw away. Any use to anyone??

Pine. Colour has mellowed with age. Single bed size. Has posts to fix to bed. Sorry photo isn’t great but it’s too much faff to get it out for photo then put it back. I hope it gives some idea

Free:
Micro Sony stereo system (Seven Dials BN1)
Compact Sony stereo system. I mostly used it for the radio which works great. The tape player appears to be working, though I can’t say I have ever used it. Alas the cd player is a bit dodgy. Maybe someone with a bit of knowledge can get it working well again... In original box with all original bits and bobs.

Your "old" desktop PCs or Macs for disabled people! (North Laine BN1)
Thank you for reading this posting and to all those who have donated me computers so far! I am a retired computer engineer and for almost a year now I have been regularly rescuing, repairing and recycling unwanted computers to people in need, especially those who are disabled, via Freegle. What I am constantly looking for is ANY machines, but especially desktop models, that may be capable of running the Linux Mint operating system to some usable degree, which means Macs from around 2007 onwards, or PCs which shipped with Windows 7 or 8 and onwards. If you are worried about your DATA I can offer a written guarantee of data destruction, or else to remove the hard drive from the machine and return it to you. I can collect from you within the Brighton and Hove area. I will accept machines that are not currently operating, or may be usable for parts. I can and will provide some details of the people (barring identification) whom so far I have helped, if requested.

Bellight 40 watt golf ball light bulbs (Hanover BN2)
8 x BELLIGHT 40 watt golfball light bulbs. Screw fittings. Computer mouse in photo to indicate size. I would not recommend these for use in a bathroom; they seem to have a very low tolerance to damp - at least that is what my experience suggests to me! I'm in Islingword Street, near the Dover Castle. William
