Porter Cable 16g pneumatic nailer for spares or repair (Ravensmoor CW5)
On offer is a Porter Cable FN250A 16g pneumatic nailer which uses an external air compressor. It does work but can be erratic and jams occasionally. It is about 30y old and when I wanted to use it recently I discovered that the bumper (a plastic part inside) had disintegrated. This is a known problem with these nailers and I replaced the bumper and cleaned out all the gunky plastic, but it's still not fully restored and it's not worth me spending any more time on it. It does work and would be suitable for someone who doesn't mind the odd misfire or jam. 16g nails are ideal for fixing trim around doors or thin skirting board to wood studs. It is also great for tacking wood glue joints to hold while the glue dries, for example kitchen cabinets and drawers. It will take nails down to 3/4" which is quite unusual. Comes in a case with oil and Allen keys and manual. The air connection on the end will probably need changing to suit your compressor. Note that this nailer must be used with a separate air compressor capable of delivering 100 psi.

My Rosemary, Purple Sage, Oregano, Rosemary, Curry Plant and Jostaberry bushes all need serious pruning. All the herbs are perennial but can be dried, but cuttings at this time of year should root easily. The Jostaberry is a cross between gooseberry and blackcurrant and will produce vast amounts of fruit after a year or two (Which can be frozen.) I’d like these collected from North Lichfieldby next weekend if possible, as I need the space Thanks
