Even with quite old machines, the chances are that I can refurbish and upgrade to make a usable device, perfectly capable of basic everyday tasks - internet, emails, Office etc. - that I can then re-gift back for free to someone who has a need. I've been doing this for a while, finding homes for old equipment from friends and family.
