Thin Household Cardboard for Eight Rescue Gerbils (Parkdale WV1)
Hi there! I am looking for clean, thin household cardboard to use as chewing and boredom-relief material for my eight rescue gerbils. It makes a huge difference to their mental health as they need a lot of stimulation/enrichment. I am looking for items such as empty cereal boxes, toilet roll tubes, kitchen towel rolls, egg cartons, chocolate boxes, biscuit boxes (eg Ritz) etc. I don't require cardboard with lots of plastic or tape over it or with a strong chemically smell to it or cardboard that is corrugated. I no longer have any video cassettes to test it with so I don’t know if it’s fully working. However, I put a plug on it and the display lit up and pressing the eject button made the right kind of whirring noise, so it may well be still functional. No remote unfortunately.

Opened but unused. All as new other than the lower clear plastic tray part (pic 3). From experience with an identical kit, we found this tray part took up too much space and got in the way in a small shower cubicle, so I cut it down and reshaped it to be much smaller.

They have suffered cosmetic damage- we removed the faux leather that was peeling on the footrests to look more appealing. The right side on three seater is now peeling away.
