Old slow computers for fixing up and re-Freegling (Apley TF1)
I'm working to save old Windows 10, and even older computers, from landfill. I take old computer kit, fix it up with Linux instead of Windows, and re-offer it on Freegle as a working, usable computer. If it's truly dead, I will strip it down for spares and use the parts to fix other computers I get in. Microsoft is killing support for Windows 10, so there are now a lot of computers that need to be "retired" because they won't be getting security updates any more, and can't run Windows 11. If you have one of these, don't throw it away! I've settled the "Linux Mint" version of Linux as it's really easy to use, runs well on older hardware, and is well supported with lots of ways to get help and support.

Lovely comfy 2 and 3 seater sofas set in dark brown leather. For christmas we have changed to a corner sofa for more space. Unfortunately the sofa arrived earlier than expected, so no time to list on ebay but we need the space desperately. So hope to donate instead of just throwing away as plenty of life still left. We hoped they can go to someone who can make use of them. We planned to donate to a charity but the fire label, although still on there, over time has faded, so they are unable to collect. We did check when we bought them. You also get extra sofa support (optional if needed) or we can keep those for the new ones if not. Cushions and footstool are not included as still needed. Structure good and supportive. Overall condition- Used - Good Only giving away because new sofa with a higher back arriving Thursday. No deliveries. Person collecting must be able to move themselves- 2 people recommended.
