Slide and Film Scanners (Riverhead TN13)
Two film scanners for transferring old 35mm (and in one case 110 format) negatives and slides to your computer. 5 megapixel scans. The VFS-008 Smartfix scanner scans to an SD card (not supplied but easily obtained) from where the scans can be transferred via a cable (supplied) to your computer, as shown in the picture. The second scanner, bought from Maplin does similar but comes with ArcSoft MediaImpression v2.0 software on a CD to control the scanning. As I no longer have a laptop CD player I have not tested this one out recently but as I remember it both devices are to the same quality. An example of a scan on the Veho device is included in the photos. The cassette for slides holds three slides and can be scanned in about a minute.
