Antique Open Easy Chair – a period uphol (South Kensington SW7)
Victorian open easy chair in the style of Howard & Sons, with the proportions, construction and character associated with this maker. The chair has an open-arm design, with exposed, finely turned wooden arm supports and substantial square-section timber blocks beneath. The exposed mahogany-coloured timber features several stepped and moulded sections. The frame is in good condition and the castors are Cope & Collinson, a recognised maker of quality furniture fittings. The upholstery is worn in places and the seat springs require repair. Hence an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a period furniture project to restore with a fabric of their choice. Collection only from South Kensington, London.

Looking for donations for a Ukrainian family who have recently moved here 🇺🇦❤️ I’m looking for various household items and other useful things for a Ukrainian family with two boys who have only recently moved here. They are 9 and 16 years old and are currently going through a very difficult time. We would really like to help make things a little easier for them as they settle into their new home. We are looking for things such as: Pots and pans suitable for an electric hob Blankets/throws in good condition A backpack suitable for an adult A set of drinking glasses A tablecloth A glass water jug A men’s/L-sized lightweight jacket or windbreaker A projector or other technology the children could enjoy A games console or other gaming equipment Anything else you think might be useful for a family starting again - Christmas or Halloween staff If you have anything you could donate, please send me a photo of the item and the collection address. I’m asking for photos because, unfortunately, we have previously been offered items that were in a condition where they could no longer really be used. Hawkshead Walking Shoes (Rotherhithe SE16)
Used Hawkshead walking shoes/boots. I estimate they are size 6.5 as they are only slightly too small for me and I am normally size 6.5/7. Given to me by a friend who upgraded, but they didn't quite fit me. Material seems to be suede. They are worn with some signs of wear, but still have some use left in them.

The stool is otherwise in good condition, a bit worn, but the cross pieces between the legs occasionally pop out, and I have not been able to stop this happening. The suggestions on Google are beyond my DIY skills. It has never looked like collapsing, and is fine under my six year old granddaughter, but I do not like to let a full grown adult sit on it.
