The stool is very solid and well built. The mechanism to heighten the seat works perfectly. The appearance though is a bit tatty and needs a bit of TLC. One of the knobs is original bit the other is an adapted wooden door knob. Free to a good home. It served us well for many a year! The stool is very solid and well built.
