Free: Toilet Plunger (Morningside Heights/UWS) Expired - I realize this is an unusual offer, so before I say anything else, let me clarify that this has been sanitized and sterilized four different ways including a strong bleach soak, and is clean and in good shape. I have somehow wound up with too many plungers. This is a very good one, has been used very little, and I was hoping someone could use it. The description is here: I'm near Broadway and 110th Street (aka Cathedral Parkway)

Free: Hangers for drip-drying clothes (Morningside Heights/UWS) Gifted - Hello fellow freecyclers! Hang these three very useful devices on a rod or shower curtain, to dry clothes that you aren't putting in a dryer. Or, if anyone out there is still working in a darkroom, you could hang prints to dry. Or, you could display your birthday or holiday cards. They aren't new, but they are in fine working order. I love these things, and am only giving them away because I splurged on a very big one. I'm located near Broadway & 110th Street (aka Cathedral Parkway)

Free: Glass "shade" for light fixture (Morningside Heights/UWS) Expired - Hello! I am not using the new glass shade for the lighting fixture in the photo -- a Westinghouse wall light, 66402. It is a vintage style, with white and clear glass approximately 5-1/2" x 6". There's room inside for a standard bulb. In the photos, you'll see the measurements for the opening. I'm located near Broadway & 110th Street (aka Cathedral Parkway)

Free: 6 vintage tall glasses (Morningside Heights/UWS) Gifted - Hello fellow freecyclers, I'm offering a set of six vintage tall glasses. I believe they date back to the 1970s. Near Broadway and 110th Street (aka Cathedral Parkway). Preference to people who bother to at least write a full sentence. 😄 Free: Aloe plants (Morningside Heights/UWS) Gifted - What you see in the photo are four aloe vera plants with an inspiring will to live. Take one or take all. I will give you the plant(s) without a pot or soil -- you will need to take care of that. In my experience, they can live out of the soil even for a few days. A year ago, there were six plants in this little pot. They were half-dead, two or three inches tall, and pale-to-brown in color, but they'd survived some major challenges. As a new indoor gardner, I was both awed by their staying power, and interested in seeing if I could save them. They stabilized, then when spring came, they doubled and tripled in size. Two of them have been put in their own pots and thriving and growing into their new, larger space. I don't want more, but don't have the heart to throw out the rest. They worked so hard to be here. They need fast-draining soil, and only need watering when the soil is completely dry. I've been giving them a little shot of succulent fertilizer every month or two, but I don't believe that's necessary. Anyway, there are a gazillion websites and YouTube videos on the care of aloe veras. I'm near Broadway and 110th Street in Manhattan, easily reached by train or bus.

Free: Shower curtain, liner and hooks (Morningside Heights/UWS) Gifted - 100% Cotton white (slightly off-white) shower curtain from Restoration Hardware. It is not new, but is in good condition. White polyester fabric liner. Also included is a set of off-white hooks. They are open-ended, so it's very easy to get both curtain and liner off and on. These are standard size (72"x72"). I recently raised the height of my rods, so the curtains are no longer the right length for me. I had them rolled up, so they look a little crumpled in the photo.

Free: OB Tampons (Morningside Heights/UWS) Gifted - Offering about 22 O.B. Tampons mostly Super (may be Super+ -- not sure), with some smaller. See the photo. These are tampons WITHOUT applicators. Please: if you can afford sanitary products, leave this for someone else. Near Broadway and 110th Street.

Free: 5-CD/Dual Cassette/Radio Stereo set (Morningside Heights/UWS) Gifted - Shark CD-DK891 all-in-one double-cassette, 5-CD stereo player with radio. (There's an i-pod port, too but I can't remember which generation). The pieces are all 13" tall. The main component is 10-1/4" wide and 12" deep. Each speaker is just under 8" wide. Bought new in 2016, used for a year or two, and it's been packed away since then. I imagine it still works fine. Cosmetically, it is in excellent condition (It's just a little dusty in the photos because I'm moving a lot of stuff around). I'm in Manhattan, near 110th Street & Broadway. If you can't pick it up by car to pick it up, I can put it in a box for you to carry. It would be clumsy to carry by public transportation, but probably do-able. Or, I can wrap it to fit in a larger size grocery cart. It would easily fit in a wagon. Free: Art Déco Dresser (Morningside Heights/UWS) Gifted - Arto Deco Dresser 30" wide, 45-3/4" high, 16-3/4"deep (allow an additional 1-1/2" in depth for the brass handles). Spacious, sturdy and well made. Superficial condition issues that could be dealt with with some dark polish and markers, or a revarnish. Elevator building with a ramp. Time frame: asap, of course. I'm home a lot, with a pretty flexible schedule. Ideal pick-up window is weekdays from 7:30am until 5, when the service elevator is available, but other times are possible too. Feel free to contact me with questions. You will need to bring the muscle power and/or dolly to remove this.
