Captain Chairs,Stainless Food Mill+ (Ypsilanti Township)

- Cute scarecrow with post. Old school push mower. I think good for display only. It is very heavy and I think something isn’t engaging right so the blade is in the wrong place when the wheels turn. I could not get it to work. Maybe you can. It is cool, made when things were built to last. 1/2 bottle Kroger brand tearless baby shampoo. Same color and slightly odd smell as Johnson & Johnson Embarrassing number of condiment packets. Lots of catsup, also soy sauce, duck sauce, hot sauce. I can put out a bag & you can sort through for the ones you want. Stainless steel food mill with 2 size holes. This is really nice, but I don’t think I have used it since I moved here 3 years ago. Good for apple sauce, tomato sauce, homemade baby food, etc. 2 captains chairs in bags, never opened. Shoulder straps for carrying. Say Lakota on side. Porch pick up on Ecorse near Maus in Ypsi, 48198. Please specify which you would like. Thanks for looking & Happy Trashing Nothing. Abby

Carlo Rossi Lids & Jugs (Ypsilanti Township)
32d
- I use Carlo Rossi jugs to take water to feral cats. I could use a few more bottles and especially some extra lids as I lose them sometimes or they get worn and bent. Carlo Rossi is a reasonably priced wine that comes in large (3 liter, I think) glass bottles that are great for water storage. Available at Meijer and other fine retailers :) Thank you so much. Abby

Working Low Flush Toilet (Ypsilanti Township)
Gifted

- This toilet was at the curb. I picked it up to use an outdoor planter. The person who put it out said it works. I didn’t ask why he put it out. It Iooks very clean and new, including the working parts. I am posting it in case anyone can use it for its intended purpose. If not, I will plant basil in the tank and flowers in the bowl. It is considerably heavier than most toilets and will need 2 people to pick it up. Pickup from my backyard, Ecorse near Maus. Thanks for looking.

Toxics for Safe Disposal (Ypsilanti Township)
Expired
118d
- On Sat June 10 I am going to the Zeeb Rd Toxic Center to drop some things off. I would gladly take things for other people too. A full list of what they do and do not accept is available here. They accept pretty much any chemical you would use for your house, car, garden or hobby. Also smoke alarms and fire extinguishers, thermometers and thermostats, batteries, handheld electronics, fluorescent light bulbs up to 4’ and more. No asbestos, pharmaceuticals, tires, full size electronics, medical waste, personal care products. Dry latex paint can be disposed of in the trash. They prefer everything in original containers, or labeled with what it is. Don’t mix chemicals. They prefer containers of 5 gallons or less. I plan to pick things up Mon June 5- Fri June 9. I’m happy to do porch pick ups if you’re comfortable with that. I’m available most mornings & later in the day on Mon & Tues 6/5 & 6/6. I’m on Ecorse Rd near Maus in Ypsilanti. It’s great if people want to bring stuff to me. The closer to June 9 the better as I’d rather not have a whole lot of toxins on my porch for a long time. Thanks so much for looking. Happy Trashing Nothing! Abby

Are you that rare person with 3 ears who wants to listen to music in all of them? Easy porch pick up on Ecorse near Maus, Ypsi 48198

Scarecrow & Old-Fashioned Mower (Ypsilanti Township)
Expired
138d
- This scarecrow was being thrown away at my job & that made me sad. Look at that smile! But so not my style. I think he is for indoor or porch use, does not seem durable for rain. I know he probably won’t get displayed till fall, but I’d much rather he’d chill someplace else for the spring & summer. Old fashioned push mower. From the 1940s or 1950s, when things were built to last. I got it from TrashNothing hoping to actually mow with it, but it is so heavy. I think also something is off with the alignment so the blade does not correctly hit the grass as the wheels turn. Hoping someone wants it as a piece of history and quality craftsmanship. I feel wrong just tossing it. Easy porch pickup on Ecorse near Maus, Ypsilanti, 48198.

Drawing of Pres Ford, Kroger Bags (Ypsilanti Township)
Expired
215d
- Easy porch pick up on Ecorse near Maus. Pencil drawing of President Ford, approx 11”by 17” It was done by a former home care client of mine who took a class drawing portraits from photos. He was a lovely man, a long-time Detroit school teacher, a WWII vet, a devoted care taker of his mother till her death. I am saving the Eisenhower portrait, but in my small Democratic house, there is only so much room for portraits of Republican presidents. ;) There is a smudge in the upper left hand corner of the picture. Also, 2 people have said they really wanted this and then no-showed. President Ford (& I!) deserve better. Lots (2 plus paper grocery bags full) of the Kroger bags that they use for delivery/in store pick up. Sturdier and flat on the bottom, not the standard t-shirt type bag. Would prefer someone to take all, but whatever you would like. Thanks for looking!

Older Microwave,Settlers of Catan + (Ypsilanti Township)

215d
- Easy porch pick up on Ecorse near Maus, Ypsi 48298. Older Sharp countertop microwave. Trash find. Built 2002, has carousel. I did successfully cook a frozen bean burrito in it. I will clean it well if someone wants it. It may be bound for the recycling center. I know no thrift shop wants one this old. Settlers of Catan with extension for 6 players. Box is a little water-damaged & scruffy. Game looks untouched. I bought it at a thrift shop & never played it. I don’t think the previous owners did either. It is a great game. My roommate has one and we play often. 2 grocery bags of plastic bread bags. Bread bags are great for dog pick up. Or litter box scooping. Or small amounts of icky trash.

- This was an incredibly generous gift from a co-worker. It’s something I don’t need (I have travel mugs, 30 oz is big & this is super durable & insulated, too.) & I feel sort of guilty coz I didn’t get her anything. I’d like to give to someone who can really use it, not someone who will add it to their extensive collection of travel mugs. Easy porch pick up on Ecorse between Michigan Ave & Harris in Ypsilanti. - I am looking for a dozen or so glass salad dressing bottles with standard narrow mouths (not like Marzetti) and lids. I’d be extra happy with Annie’s or another one that has a pretty bottle, but am glad for anything. I have started making my own chocolate sauce and need something to gift it in. Google recipes if you’re interested. It’s fun, easy, you can use better quality cocoa or sugar, add extracts or even add some alcohol ;). Thanks so much for looking. Abby
