- The Union Jack scooter is 2-wheeled and folds down, but is a bit rickety. The other one has got 3 wheels and so a bit more steady for smaller children, but has no break (which might not be a big problem for some smaller riders) Our son has grown out of them so they are surplus to requirements.

- Has had some knocks, but is still solid. The crack on the side does not seem to be on the surface so no danger of scratches, etc. The crack on the handle is bigger, but could easily be covered with some duck tape if need be.

- I have kept our odd and holie socks for ages in order to use them in craft projects, but never got around to it. Would be perfect for someone to do a sock darning/sock monkey workshop. Includes everything from colourful kids socks to mens work socks. It would be great if someone could find a use for them.

- I have got one pair of Clarks mary janes and one pair of wooden-soled cloggs that have both seen better days to give away. The mary janes probably only need a new heel as the rest is not in too bad a shape, but as I know that I won't wear them anymore, I don't want to fork out for the repair at this stage. The cloggs are more of a restoration project, but I bet someone with the right skills could make good use of the wooden base and turn them into a pair of sandals or restored cloggs.

- 800W microwave, clock, timer, etc. works, but it is not heating. Apparently, this should be relatively easy to fix for someone who is savvy with electrics (we are not). We have upgraded to another appliance now, but if anyone can make use of it and save it from the tip, please let us know straight away as it'll otherwise go to the tip tomorrow (Sat, 27.08)
