None are so old I wouldn't at least open them to check, but I eat a lot of weird stuff. I'm afraid they're going to end up sitting until I would just toss them anyway, so might as well give them half a chance. Please take any or all. I'll answer questions about specifics as soon as I can, and try to edit as items go.

it's that time of year again. I "moved" a patch, which basically means I made an additional patch. Supposedly these hail from a berry farm on vashon, no longer producing.

Deer oak seedlings - a few left (Maple Leaf)
Gifted
Seedlings from a Quercus sadleriana growing happily in Seattle. This oak is self-fertile but there's no guarantee of parentage, oaks being what they are. These are supposed to get 10' x 10' as an understory plant. It's a PNW native but not a western WA native. Mine has been on an east-facing fence under a big miscanthus in sandy loam/glacial till for a decade and might be 5' x 5' at this point. It did bulk up nicely in the first couple of years after planting out (age 3-5). So far it adds a nice textural note to the border and hasn't needed any babying. I'll give them away up to 5 at a time until it's clear no one else wants one.

4 pots of red raspberry canes (Maple Leaf)
Gifted
July-bearing red, don't know its variety or provenance. I dug up some of the ragged edge of the bed in spring, they've been managing in pots ever since. If you don't want the heavy soil I'll knock some of it off and put them "bare root" into a bag - I'll even wash them if you give me a heads-up. Let me know how many pots you want & I'll relist the rest. Yes I will deliver to Queen Anne. :)

LARGE jostaberry shrub (NE Seattle)
Gifted
Free at last! For a blank space in the yard, or maybe a P-patch? Over 6' tall, trimmed to 5' wide. I got most of the major root system but took most of the soil off over the last week so I could simply move it. You'll want to cut it down hard but I'll leave a pruner, and string for binding, and let you decide how much to remove before transport. Wrapped in fabric, moistened, then wrapped in plastic. (But she's not dead. ) It'll keep for a few days like that, and they're pretty resilient. One person could move this, but 2 might find it less awkward. At a pinch, I can transport, though transporter is currently occupied.
