Free: TV Stand (Barrhaven (Barrhaven (Barrhaven (Walter Baker Area)) Sauder TV and component stand. Nice little unit with two enclosed storage areas and shelves. About 35-1/2" W x 22-1/2" H x 21-1/4" D. The shape allows it to sit in a corner or against a wall. It is in great shape, but unfortunately something sticky lifted two patches of veneer, easily covered up. I would keep it but the openings for the components are a shade too narrow for old receivers (not included!). It isn't very heavy but I may need help getting it up from the basement.

Free: DVD Sets - Cracker, Tudors (Barrhaven (Walter Baker Area)) Expired Cracker Series 1, 2, and 3. Robbie Coltrane won several awards as Fitz, the brilliant but infuriatingly self-destructive criminal profiler. Tudors Series 2. The entertaining if historically questionable series about Henry VIII. Upstairs, Downstairs - Complete series. This is the ancestor of Downton Abbey. Don't expect the production values to be the same, but it is a classic.

Free: Sheet Music Stands (Barrhaven (Walter Baker Area)) Gifted Three lightweight sheet music stands. Fully collapsible and height adjustable. Two of them have a tiny amount of corrosion and a dab or two of Tremclad will put an end to that.

Free: Samsung 19" Monitor (Barrhaven (Walter Baker Area)) Gifted Samsung SyncMaster 193v Manufactured 2003. This is a square monitor and can only be used with a VGA cable, which I can provide. The picture quality is more than acceptable, but wouldn't be appropriate for gaming. I wouldn't want to use it all day as it simply doesn't have the higher resolution of more modern monitors.

Free: 16" Snow Tires and Rims for Mazda (Barrhaven (Walter Baker Area)) Gifted 215/60R16. Bolt pattern 5x114.3. Four wheels and tires. These were suitable as snow tires on my Mazda 6; the car normally has 215/55R17 as summer tires. Many cars (all years of Mazda 6, likely Mazda 3 and others) use the same bolt pattern. Even non-Mazda cars have this bolt pattern. The tires, I suggest, have one winter left on them at most, light duty. You would not use them to go off-roading or drive up to the Yukon. Whether you want just the rims, or just the tires, I'll ask you take everything.

Free: Homemade Philips Speakers (Barrhaven (Walter Baker Area)) Expired For the hobbyist. These stand about 30" tall and have dome tweeters, dome midranges, 10" (blown) woofers, and 3-way crossovers. They are over 45 years old. They've never won any beauty contests, and age hasn't done them any kindnesses. But they were heavily built and sounded great until the rubber surrounds on the woofer rotted away (a common problem). The woofers can be reconed. If you know anything about Philips, they made some terrific components and in the 1970s and 80s a lot of budding audiophiles were building some very, very good speakers. Maybe this is still true. If someone wants to use just the components for a new project, that's fine, but I'll ask you to take everything away and dispose of what you don't want.

Free: Samsung DVD/CD Player - No Remote (Barrhaven (Walter Baker Area)) Expired Samsung DVD-P390 player; no Blu-Ray. This is "old school" - component video, no HDMI capability. "Old school" also means it is well constructed. The real snag is the lack of remote control. You can play and pause a DVD, but can't fast forward, rewind, or navigate menus. Still, for older DVDs you can certainly use it. It can also be used as a CD player and it also has USB input for other media. Now, if you have a Samsung TV (as I do), there's a good chance you can use the TV remote to operate the DVD player.

Request: 2.5mm Headset for Landline Phone (Barrhaven (Walter Baker Area)) Expired I have a an old Panasonic cordless telephone and I would like to get a hands-free headset for it. It has a 2.5mm jack. (Mobile phones use 3.5mm headphone jacks and won't work with this.) Anyone got an old one collecting dust? It doesn't need to be Panasonic brand. Say, while we're at it, if you have a Panasonic landline cordless telephone KX-TGA520M also gathering dust - with or without the recharging base - I would happily receive it, even if the battery is dead. Thank you.

Free: Old Road Atlas and Sedona Book (Barrhaven (Walter Baker Area)) Expired CAA hardcover road atlas, 1983. Great book. It is old, but at least Alaska and Hawaii had achieved statehood by then and thus earned entries in this book. If you're looking for Highway 407, you'll be out of luck.
