This is a lamp from friendshiplamps.com. The idea is that you and a far-away friend each get one of these and they stay in sync over the Internet. Whenever you think of them, you touch your lamp and it changes to one color. Then when they touch theirs, it changes to a different color (you can pick which colors you each want). I got it for an LDR that didn't work out so I don't need it anymore...
