Free: Old Shovel (Harrogate HG1) Shovel. Some woodworm holes in the T-section of the handle (see photo). No idea of the vintage of the holes. The cutting edge of the blade is very worn (see photo). Still functions well enough as a shovel.

Free: Strong Green Plastic Shopping Basket (Harrogate HG1) Strong plastic shopping basket with metal handles. Last used to transport some soily clumps of plants, so now needs a good scrub!

I think someone gave us something in it. Very muddy from transporting a clump of plants, so needs a good scrub.

Free: Wooden clothes airer/horse/maiden (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Traditional wooden clothes airer. Webbing hinges hold the two sections together in the middle. These are old and tattered now and need to be replaced with some strong, new bands of webbing.

Free: Marble pieces (Harrogate HG1) Slab of marble 17mm thick, but which was knocked over from where it was propped up against a fence and so unfortunately shattered into these pieces. Smaller rectangular-ish piece of different marble, less colourful, 2cm thick. Both are grimy and will look better after a wash/scrub. N.B. Re- the photos, there are two of the larger slab, one of the pieces upside down and one with the more colourful side face up.

Free: Album for Art Project (Harrogate HG1) Baby Photo Album for a newborn. Unused gift. Decades old. In nice condition mostly. Just some discoloration of the first page (see photos). This could be embellished artistically with a little bit of creative imagination.

Free: Folding Camping Stool (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Folding stool for camping/garden/picnics etc. It's maybe about 15 years old at the most/at a guess! Staining to back of fabric is probably due to it having got a bit damp where it was stored in an old summer house every winter. Still seems robust.

Free: Ceramic Baking Dish (with fine cracks) (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Rectangular oven-to-tableware lasagne/shepherd's pie-type dish. Has some fine cracks, so could continue to be used in the oven, but at your own risk. The underside is not glazed and is therefore porous. Perhaps someone has another use for it. It's a nice-looking dish. Dimensions: 32cm x 27cm.

Free: Slice of Wood/Wooden Sign/Number Base (Harrogate HG1) Gifted A slice of very nice wood. Perhaps suitable for attaching your house number to? It was a gift with a religious verse/prayer on the other side but it was never displayed. The small grey patch is I think a bit of adhesive left from a label which was stuck to it when it was bought. This should sand off easily.

Free: Anglepoise lamp (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Large anglepoise lamp. Quite old! Includes fitting to attach it to a wall or solid piece of furniture. N.B. There is no base, so it can not be placed on a surface. Works fine. Someone who knows about wiring might want to tidy up the DIY job - see close-up photo of wire end. We have used this for decades, attached to the side of a solid wooden desk, but it is no longer needed.

Free: Soap dish/rack (wall-mountable option) (Harrogate HG1) Withdrawn Soap dish designed to be but has never been wall-mounted. Can be used just standing with the solid tray section catching the drops. Bought from Lakeland Plastics in the 1990s. Still in good condition.

Free: Unused Child's Bathtime Fun Whale Sponge/Flannel (Harrogate HG1) Withdrawn Fun stuffed flannel whale with small patch of loofah on the underbelly. Fun for a small child's bathtime. Never used. Unused gift. Has been hanging on a hook in the bathroom as a decoration for a few years! Recently washed to freshen him up. Starting to show signs of age. Who'd like to give this Whale-Sponge a last fling before his time is up?!

Free: Suitcase, small, old-ish style (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Small, dark-blue vinyl(?) suitcase. Perhaps useful for storage. Good condition. A bit awkward to fasten and unfasten if you want to use the straps/buckles, otherwise the zip works fine.

Free: Shoe brush set (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Shoe brush set. Press-stud fastener extremely stiff to open and close. Still a neat way of storing the brushes, though. Could just hold it closed with an elastic band.
