- We still have zoysia grass left. There are a few rolls and a few nice piles of pieces. It transplants easily. Just place it where you want it and leave it until spring. Zoysia grass is known for its ability to stand up to heat, drought, heavy foot traffic and a variety of other challenges. This tough grass can deliver a beautiful, dense lawn with very little input from you. Zoysia is a particularly hardy grass that grows well in a wide range of conditions and requires far less watering and mowing than most grasses. At the same time, this "tough" grass creates a thick, soft carpet that feels great in bare feet.
