Free: postcards (Wheatley, OX33) Withdrawn I have a block of reproductions of a watercolour of the folly at Woodeaton by the late John Steane to give away. There are about 50 of them at a guess.

Free: Russian for Everybody (Wheatley) Withdrawn I have a boxed set of books with this title published by Moscow University ages ago. It is supposed to be audiolingual but we no longer have the tapes. Consists of one large and five smaller books, written for speakers whose first language is either English, French, Spanish or German.
Free: ceramic tiles (Wheatley) Gifted I have 31 ceramic tiles to give away. They are black, rectangular and each one measures 10 x 20 cms. There are enough to make a splashback for a basin.

Free: wall tile grout (Wheatley) Gifted Partly used bag of waterproof wall tile grout powder, colour arctic white. There is still 2.8 kilos of grout left in this 3 kg. bag.

Free: Nativity figures (Wheatley) Expired Partial set of nativity figures, of which the largest, a shepherd, is 30 cms. high. It comprises Mary, baby Jesus with crib, an ox and an ass with four figures. Three of these are shepherds, one with a lamb, one with a set of pipes and another with a crook. A fourth figure has a basket of fish in his arms and another at his feet. Make of him what you will. The crook could be removed from the hand of the third shepherd, in which case he could be redeployed as Joseph. The material is a heavy plastic and the colour of the figures is light brown.

Free: trousers (Wheatley) Gifted I have a new pair of black trousers from Primark to give away. They are size waist 34'', length 32''. or European 44R, slim stretch. The material is denim.
Free: Christmas cards (Wheatley) Expired I have a big bundle of unused charity Christmas cards and envelopes to give away. There are ten different designs from at least six charities.
Free: Printed music (Wheatley) Expired I have parts of music for string players from the film of Les Miserables, arranged by Johnnie Vincent to give away, in case any music teacher could use them.
Free: tape recorder (Wheatley) Gifted This is a reel to reel tape recorder. The colour is pale grey and mid grey. There are two dents in the metal screen on the front. It is in working order but I do not have any instructions. I am giving away one tape and two reels with the tape recorder. The brand name is Elizabethan.
Free: wooden toy (Wheatley) Gifted I have a handmade wooden lorry to give away. It is painted red. It measures 19 cms. long, 17 cms. high and 12 cms. wide. It is suitable for a child from 3 years old.
Free: wood for a bonfire (Wheatley) Expired I have a car boot sized collection of unwanted bits of wood, which could be the foundation of a Guy Fawkes bonfire.
Free: doll's eiderdown (Wheatley) Expired I have a small patchwork eiderdown to give away, which once was part of the bedclothes for a doll's bed. It is 27 x 22 cms in size and quilted.
Free: scrap wood (Wheatley) Expired I have an amount of scrap wood to give away which ight form the nucleus of a bonfire for Guy Fawkes, or just for fun. It would fill a car boot. I live in Wheatley.
Free: bag for shopping trolley (Wheatley) Expired I have a bag for a shopping trolley to give away if anyone can use it. I'm keeping the frame for something else. The colour is rusty black, with an attractive pattern of two cherries, stalks and leaves. if nobody wants it, it will have to go in the bin. It might make a cover for something that has to stay outdoors.
Free: paint, masking tape (Wheatley) Gifted I have 2/3 of a 2.5 litre tin of Coo-var Suregrip yellow anti-slip floor paint and two partly used rolls of masking tape to give away. Warning: you could end up looking like Donald Trump if you take this item.
Free: shot glass (Wheatley) Expired I have a shot glass that once held some Czech vodka and has the remains of some advertising on it, which however could easily be scrubbed off. Either you could use it as intended, or it could become a bud vase, or it could even hold a candle. It is about 20 cms high.
Free: bike pump (Wheatley) Expired Black, conventional pump, lacks connector but otherwise in good working order.
Free: Camping chair (Wheatley) Gifted I have a camping chair to give away. It is green canvas with easily folding lightweight metal legs. It is the kind where the four legs come together when pushed, not the kind that folds up into a double layer of framed canvas with legs on the outside. Sorry, there is no picture because I am not that clever. There is also a carrying bag with shoulder strap. I had it during lockdown as an outdoor seat for safe larger gatherings. The only slight blemish is, the binding round the back has frayed slightly. It would look better with a trim, using nail scissors.
Free: oil can (Wheatley) Gifted Old fashioned oil can with spout, handle and pump action thumbpiece.
Request: suitcase (Wheatley) Expired Has anyone got an old mobile suitcase with four castors but broken bodywork, that has encountered rough handling please? As long as the castors and adjustable handle still work, I could adapt it to carry my trombone and case about in. I live in OX33 but have no wheels, so if you have such a thing, one of my children would come to collect it from you. NB I have tried using a shopping trolley but the balance is all wrong. Free: under counter refrigerator (Wheatley) Gifted There is a working refrigerator, which was used by the builders of the new care home at Park Hill, Wheatley, sitting outside the boundary wall on the pavement. It has been left there for someone to take. This must be an opportunity for somebody with a friend who could help them lift it into a vehicle.
Free: chipboard bookcase (Wheatley) Expired The height is 90 ms., width 68 cms. depth 24cms.. The shelves have been altered from the customary two to give one shelf half way up the sides. This means that there are two storage spaces each 40 cms high and 66 cms. long, where you could store children's picture books, sheet music in slip cases, or even vinyl LPs. The colour is white. This item must go before Friday 15th, as otherwise it will have to go to the tip.
Free: chipboard shelf unit (Wheatley) Expired 90 cms. high, 68 cms wide, 24 cms deep white finish chipboard shelf unit. has been altered fromt eh customary three shelves to give two shelves each 40 cms high, which means it is good to store children's picture books, A4 sheet music or other taller than average printed matter.
