Let’s swap winter gear, Halloween, Christmas and Personal care/ toiletries (see description below)! Why? Because we’re richer when we share! Bring your gently used donations to Withrow Park Farmers’ Market. Don’t have anything to donate but need a winter jacket or Halloween costume or some shampoo? No worries, come find what you need. All are welcome! No need to donate in order to take. How it works: To ensure everyone can participate, we have a one standard shopping bag plus one big item limit until 12 noon. After 12 noon, you can take as much as you like. A reminder that our swap items are not for resale. All ages, sizes, genders welcome! Accepted Items: Winter gear: jackets, coats, scarves, hats, gloves, mitts, ear muffs, thermal layers, boots, sleds, snow shoes Halloween: costumes, decorations and dishes Christmas / Holidays: holiday sweaters and seasonal decorations and dishes Personal care items: shampoo, conditioner, face or body wash, acne products, moisturizer, make-up, deodorant, toothpaste, hair spray, bubble bath, bath salts, bar soap, shaving cream, menstrual products (open boxes ok), diapers (open bags ok), diaper rash cream, hair ties, headbands, plus anything new with tags or new in packages (e.g. razors, toothbrushes, hairbrushes) Please Note: Personal care / toiletry items may be either new and unused or tried / swatched but must be mainly full of product and not past the expiration date to assist us in directing your donations after our event. All items must be in good condition, clean, free of rips, tears and stains. We’re excited to be partnering again with our friends from Birth Mark to bring you this fun FREE community event! Yes, it's 100% free! All are welcome! No need to donate in order to take. Bring your gently used baby gear, baby and children’s toys, baby and kids clothing, books and school supplies to Withrow Park Farmers’ Market on August 19 for a Back-to-School “Swap”! Don’t have anything to donate but need stuff for the kiddies? No worries, come find what you need. • Items appropriate for ages 0-12 are welcome! • All items must be in good working condition, clean, free of rips, tears and stains. • Please bag toy sets together • 🚫 No cribs, jolly jumpers, car seats or recalled items, please. 👉 Birth Mark will also be hosting a diaper drive to help gather some attention and diapers for people in need in the community! New and opened packages are welcome. Withrow Park Farmers' Market is hosting a series of free swaps, one each month, on Saturday mornings at Withrow Park (Danforth and Carlaw). Our first swap of the season is a Community Clothing Swap: all ages, sizes and genders welcome. This is a FREE event.
