Hamax Discovery Bicycle Rear Child Seat Fixings (Whitley Bay NE26)
Expired
We sold the seat years ago, and recently came across these additional fittings we forgot to pass on. This is from a model perhaps 20 years old, and I have no idea of the same quick-release fittings are used, but here they are in case you have an older seat and they are useful.

Four-way NTL D505 DECT phones (Whitley Bay NE26)
Expired
One base unit and four extension cordless phones. One transformer is missing so treat it as three-way, or order a new transformer. Phones require AAA NiNH rechargeable batteries. These are NOT provided, but they are easily obtainable. The base unit will plug into an *analogue* BT phone socket. The old analogue master sockets are being phased out, but this will work with a Virgin cable analogue line, a Cisco VOIP phone adapter, or a multitude of other services and devices that still support the old BT phone line-type connection. Phone and charger units are colour coordinated, so they all get returned to their rightful place. The charger units will sit on a flat surface, or can be mounted on the wall.

Optimus 5" LCD TV (analogue) (Whitley Bay NE26)
Gifted
Ancient portable TV from Tandy (remember them?) It's analogue only, so no longer receives TV transmissions. However, it has a phono video input, and two audio inputs (stereo speakers built in). It takes six C-cells (the big ones), or an old camera battery, or a 9V 1.5A power supply (not included). If not using batteries, then the battery compartment comes off the back to make it a little smaller. Shown here playing a video from a Hause DVD player (region free). The DVD player has outputs for phone video, audio, digital stream, fibre optic etc. (see photos). Take the pair, or just take one item. Oh, the days when this stuff was cutting edge. Still could bring a joy and fun to someone though.

Sony DAV-DZ111 DVD AV system, with 850W surround (Whitley Bay NE26)
Gifted
Plays DVDs of most types, but not Blueray. Includes remote and all cables. Speakers include one front, two stereo, two rear surround and a sub-woofer. The speakers are small and neat, and fit into corners of the room with their long colour-coded cables. The Sony site says it plays Kareoke disks too, and there is a microphone socket on the front, though I haven't tried that myself. Includes an am and fm radio built-in, which can be played without the need for the TV to be on. SCART and composite out, but no HDMI. SCART cable included. You can have two, or three if you want. I seem to have collected them over the years.

HP Laserjet 1100 (Whitley Bay NE26)
Gifted
Please read carefully :-) This is an old laser printer, but still working. It has a 25-pin parallel port connnection (I have a USB converter if required). There are NO drivers fr this printer supplied by HP for Windows 10 and Windows 11. It uses PCL5e, and it looks like HP have withdrawn all their drivers for that too. It should be possible to run the printer from a PCL5e driver *if you already have this driver*. I have personally not been able to find this driver (it's all PCL 6 now, and that doesn't work with this printer). So if you have a Linux machine, a Windows 7 or XP machine, you may be in luck. Anyway, I just needed to make it clear, this is not plug-and-play. You will need some technical nouse to use it. But once working, it's a tiny little monochrome desktop laser printer, like nothing HP have created since.

Toshiba Tecra A2 + 2xA4 Laptop (Whitley Bay NE26)
Expired
Note: apologies for late replies. I have loads of requests, and am still working through cleaning up these laptops, and will get back to you in time. ------ Getting on for 20 years old, but still working. Battery obviously old too, so needs to be powered from the adapter to work. Windows XP installed, with MS Office. May still be useful (these old Tecras where built well). May be good for Linux. I've actually got a couple of these, and am working through wiping the accounts and data, but keeping the software and operating system on. I'll increase the availability as they are completed.

Ventian blind, white 160cm x 189cm (Whitley Bay NE26)
Gifted
Ventian blind, white, with all fixings. Originally fitted for a large window with inset dimensions 189cm wide and 160cm drop. Blades are thick plastic, so the whole thing could probably be trimed down a little if you know what you are doing.
