Request: pokemon cards - even damaged (or anything pikachu) (Roche PL26) Withdrawn Long story short, I'm struggling to afford Christmas presents this year so I'm trying to make things. I want to at least be able to give something. A family member is doing a charity event next year with a Pokemon theme so I want to make a little collage or something with old Pokemon cards. I'm not interested in rares or anything like that. I don't want anything to make money I just want to make something for them as a Christmas present. In truth I would love a Pikachu card as they're dressing up as Pikachu but I'll be happy with anything just to make something for them. Even if damaged. Request: old tatty tinsel, baubles etc (not good stuff) (Roche PL26) Withdrawn If you have any old tinsel that's not good enough for indoors any more or any old baubles that were going to be thrown out I would greatly appreciate them. To put it simply, we can't afford to put Christmas lights up this year but it's been such a horrible year I want to at least do something. So I'm going to use one of my scrap bikes in the front garden and decorate it. Something a bit fun to try and cheer myself (and hopefully others) up. I'm in Roche but can collect from St Austell and Bodmin areas if anyone did have anything. I don't want anything good as feel guilty about it getting ruined outside. Thank you.

I've been fixing bikes to help me through a difficult time and... well I'm desperate now. I need to raise £150 in the next week to keep a roof over our head (can't even afford to put the heater on) as I've been turned down by so many jobs and I've lost all confidence now. Request: childrens toys, cars, books etc for charity (Roche PL26) Received Hi. To cut a long story I had planned a fundraiser for a local charity next year. Due to the events of this year I can no longer do that but I don't want them to suffer so I'm trying to do a little something fun for Christmas to raise a bit of money for them at least. I'm looking for unwanted toys, children's books, soft toys, anything that I can use to make up 25 lucky dip boxes with a variety of items in each. It means I can reuse good condition things to save them being thrown away and the charity benefits from it as well. I'm raising money for The Invictus Trust. They are a small charity who help young people with mental health struggles. As someone who suffers from mental health problems myself I've used my cycling to raise money for them for a few years now and really want to make sure they get something. Plus it gives me a purpose I really need that right now. If anyone has anything that could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

First time unemployed in 10 years due to redundancy and got scammed out of my savings so I need help to pay my bills over the next 2 months. I want to work for my money instead of claiming benefits so using my passion for bikes to try and get through this. To be honest I do it for my mental health as well so I don't feel absolutely useless. If anyone has any old bikes sat rusting away they could really help me. Request: banana soft toys, stress toys etc for our fundraising (Roche PL26) Expired Hi all. Yes I know a very strange request but it's for a good cause. We are raising money for Cornwall Hospice Care by taking part in a big event, dressing up as monkeys and driving from Charlestown to Croatia. Our car, the Banana Racer, is all decorated up as well and I'm looking for anything banana related (soft toys, stress toys etc) that I can use to finish decorating the car. In truth it's been a horrible year but one thing has been pulling me through it and that is the thought of raising over £1000 for the charity. I don't want everything that's happened to stop this happening so I'm hoping I can go crazy with the decoration to help us raise as much money as possible for the charity. They can be broken, tatty absolutely anything as they will be attached to the outside of the car. Please if anyone has anything that could help it would be appreciated more than you can imagine. I just want to really make a fool of myself to try and forget the past 6 months and concentrate on helping the charity. Thank you.

In 2 weeks we are driving from Charlestown to Croatia (dressed as monkeys) to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care. I've got a portable speaker so we want to put some monkey sounds and songs onto the mp3 player to play in the car at the start of the rally. Try to get people to come over to us and donate to the charity. I honestly don't care what it is. It's only going to hold 10-20 tracks so doesn't need to be anything good. If anyone has any monkey or banana related items (fake bananas, stickers anything really) we would really appreciate them. We are raising money for Cornwall Hospice Care by doing the Split or Bust banger rally. Driving a beaten up old banger to Croatia and back dressed as monkeys whilst completing challenges. Long story short I bought a car that we will use for this and despite knowing it was for charity, it seems I got ripped off (some people have no conscience it seems) but I'm trying to stay positive as this is a dream that slipped away and I'll do whatever it takes to achieve it and raise over £2000 for the hospice that helped us in our time of need. So I'm trying to find things to help decorate the car, use as competition prizes etc. We would seriously appreciate anything as with having to replace the car that we only bought last week we're going to have no money to decorate it now. Request: 6x4 photo frames (Roche PL26) Expired Hi. If anyone has any unwanted photo frames for 6x4 photos I'm looking for a few. I don't care what they are or if they're a bit tatty. Basically I want to put a few photos of my favourite cycling moments in my training shed to motivate me as I'm struggling for motivation at the moment with my health. I don't want anything good as it's a damp old falling apart shed but I make the best of it to try and train as cycling is my life and the reason I'm still here. I'm making up artificial flower displays to try and raise some money towards my fundraising (I need to raise at least £500 for entry but we're hoping to raise over £2000 for Cornwall Hospice Care with it). Does anyone have any unwanted vases, containers or anything unusual that I can use to put the flower displays in (taller the better). Next year we're doing a big fundraiser in the hope of raising over £2000 for Cornwall Hospice Care. It's a dream of ours which slipped away last year so I'm trying to help raise the money to make it happen. Years ago I made up small displays of artificial flowers and really enjoyed it so I would love to try it again even if it only makes a few pounds towards it as every penny helps. In 2018 when I was trying to raise money for my fundraising I put together themed bunches and I really enjoyed it. My fundraising this year hasn't been brilliant due to my health getting in the way so I would like to do it again by creating displays themed around mental health and selling them to raise money for mental health charities. Request: Spares/repairs/broken bike (Roche PL26) Expired Hi. I'm looking for ONE spares/repairs bike to help me raise money for Cornwall Hospice care. I do an event every year for them but want to do something bigger this year as part of my 24 challenges in 24 months. Long story short I need to build a bike for £24 for this event. The event will raise money through sponsorship and to make sure the hospice benefits I will be raffling/auctioning the bike off afterwards with every penny going to the hospice. I don't mind losing the money I spend building it as the hospice supported us when my grandad lost his battle to cancer and we do whatever we can to support them. Last year we raised £1700 for them. I'm looking for a large framed mens bike or even just a frame that I can build for this. Does anyone have anything that might be suitable? Thank you.

Request: hybrid bike disc front wheel (700c) and 26" disc brake wheel (Roche PL26) Expired This is a huge ask I know but does anyone have anything that could possibly help. I was involved in an accident which, despite not being my fault, I'm being blamed for. I wouldn't mind so much if it was my fault but I ended up injured as well because of it and now have to raise thousands of pounds which I don't have and the only way I can do it is by selling my personal bikes so I'm trying to fix them up in the hope I can get a bit more out of them. Anyone who knows me knows that my bikes are my life and cycling is the reason I'm still alive, hence the reason I use it to raise money for mental health charities. Unfortunately that's not going to happen now because of this. I just want to get my bikes fixed and gone as quickly as possible to make it less painful as at the moment I'm waking up every day dreading what happens next. Please can anyone help.

After a difficult 2 year battle with my injuries I'm finally strong enough to enter cycling events to raise money for charity. I've got my first event in 3 weeks raising money for Cornwall Hospice care. I'm trying to buy/build a bike suitable for my challenges and I'm trying to raise the money to make that happen by fixing up bikes. Let's face it, bikes are all that I know and cycling is the reason I'm still here so these dreams are keeping me fighting and I'll do whatever it takes to make them happen. If you have an old bike sat broken and neglected it could be what I need. Either to build my own bike or to raise the money for it. I can't take everything but appreciate any offers.
