Offer: kids remote control car (VW Beetle) (Morningside EH10) - I've listed 2 others - this is the 3rd and final one to give away. This is a kids toy, not any kind of professional thing. This one is pretty sedate and easily controlled - the remote control has a steering wheel, "Go" button and forward/backwards switch. This one does work, BUT NEEDS A 9V (PP3) OBOLONG BATTERY for the remote control (I've run out, so I can't include one). There's one in the photo so you can see what I mean. video of it being expertly driven: As with the other two, if there's lots of interest I will share these about. I'm also going to wait a little while to give infrequent Freeglers a chance to reply. Available for contact-free collection in Morningside. Craig

Offer: (Sedate) kids remote control car (Morningside EH10) - Remote control car - kids plastic toy, not a professional thing. This one is more sedate and easy to steer than the other one I offered. Working, with batteries (I had to stick a bit of cardboard in the battery compartment to get everything to connect, but it seems solid). Note, occasionally loses connection, but a whack of the remote control sorts it out. As with the other car i offered, i'm going to wait a few days to give people a chance to reply, so don't expect a speedy response. Here's a video of it in action:

Offer: Light-up remote control car (Morningside EH10) Promised - Light-up remote control car. Note - This isn't a fancy/professional thing - this is a nearly impossible to drive, gimmicky, cheap, plastic, kids toy sort-of-thing. Works and has batteries in it. It's "feature" is that it's front wheels/body completely rotate, allowing it to pretty much get out of anywhere. This also makes it nearly impossible to drive in anything other than a straight line. Should keep small children and pets entertained (or terrified) for a while. Note - I've lost the back cover off the remote control (which holds the battery in). It's been replaced with cardboard and thick tape which seems to work okay. Video to demonstrate how bonkers it is: Available for contact-free collection in Morningside. I've got a few kids toys to list and my intention is to offer them to different people. Therefore, I'm going to give it a few days to give infrequent Freeglers a chance to get in touch. Don't expect a prompt reply. Regards, Craig

Offer: Tree stumps (Morningside EH10) Gifted - 5 or 6 tree stumps. Dug out of our garden a couple of months ago. I wondered if they were of interest to someone for a garden project or log burner. They've been sitting outside, uncovered for a couple of months, so would probably need to dry out before burning. Football for scale in photos. In Morningside.

Offer: Christmas tree stand (Morningside EH10) Gifted - Apologies for the early mention of Xmas. This is a round base, you stick your tree in. They suggest adding water to the base for ballast. That was never stable enough for me - I recommend bricks or rocks. They also missed a trick as the water doesn't feed the base of the tree. But it works fine as long as your tree isn't too big (probably about 5 foot or less). For collection in Morningside.

Offer: TP climbing frame and slide (Morningside EH10) Gifted - .... Relisting as previous efforts at giving away have fallen-through. This is a big TP Climbing Frame and slide - my kids had a great time, but they're now older so more interested in carousing and moping. Therefore, it needs a new home. It's about 10 years old, so has a few bends and marks, but is still solid. It's got a big blue slide, a platform, a dangling thing and a swing (that I think came off another climbing frame). It's in our back garden and won't fit down the access path, so it really does need dismantling. I was going to take it apart myself, but I figure that the best way of learning how it goes together is for you to take it apart(!) I have the instructions and also several replacement bolts/nuts. Someone is in most days, so we can arrange a dismantling/exchange pretty much any time. I strongly recommend waiting until it has been dry for a couple of days. Note - I've had a few goes at giving this away and they've fallen through, so if you are interested, please consider carefully if you have the ability to dismantle and transport it. Thanks, Craig

Offer: 5 litres of Magnolia Paint (Morningside EH10) Gifted - A *very* old tin of vinyl Matt paint - 5 litres, water based. This is about 15 years old (it came with the house when we moved in). However, I've just opened it and it is all still liquid - looks like it could do with a mix, but it looked usable. Available for contact-free collection in Morningside. Note - I typically wait a few days to give people chance to reply, so if you don't hear back straight away, I'm not ignoring you. Anyone? Craig
