Request: Beginner's violin (Comiston EH10) I have a friend keen to learn violin. Does anyone have an old, basic one languishing somewhere? My youngest plays, so we're okay to tune and restring it, etc.

Free: Very old air fryer (Comiston EH10) Promised An original Tefal ActiFry - a vey old air fryer. This is quite different from modern ones which have baskets, temperature settings, different modes etc. This is s a large round thing with a paddle that rotates inside it and absolutely no settings other than "on" and "off". It did have a countdown timer, but that stopped working. It didn't do anything other than beep though. You could probably put another watch battery in it to make the timer work again, but I couldn't see the point. However, it works really well and makes great food - the paddle is really great for jiggling things to make sure they get evenly coated. Here's a video of someone using one to make chips: We've got the manual, plus some spare parts (lid, paddle, filter). As well as being big, it's quite loud when running! Request: Power adapter for Macbook (t-tip) (Comiston EH10) Received I'm trying to recover some data from an old/broken macbook (A1466). I don't have a power adapter. Does anyone have a spare one? I believe the kind I need is called a "t-tip". Happy to collect. If it's not too far, the dog and I will walk round at your convenience. Regards, Craig

Free: Worn out bulb/housing for projector (Comiston EH10) Expired This bulb has over 3,500 hours on it, so it's too dim to use anymore. But it comes in an interesting little metal housing. I thought it might be of interest ot a model maker/prop designer - it looks like something from a sci-fi set. Which would be a better end than just putting it in the recycling. Pound coin for scale in the photos. In Morniingside. Anyone?

Free: Christmas Tree Lights (Comiston EH10) Expired Old-school fairy lights. Plug them in. They glow. Not LED. No flashing/blinking/pretty patterns. Just slightly underwhelming points of light. Photo is of them tied-up. They are a few meters long and in a loop. I'll also include some spare bulbs. Anyone?

Free: 5x pillows (Comiston EH10) Gifted Cheap, artificial pillows. I'll wash them before they go. Sone have rips, but the stuffing doesn't fall out.

Free: Very battered office/gaming chair (Comiston EH10) Gifted You'll see from the photos, this has seen a lot of life. The vinyl/covering is cracked and worn in lots of places. The padding in some bits (e.g. the arms) is wearing thin. My son tells me some of the bolts are missing (yikes!). But it works. The up/down mechanism works. It reclines. The castors work and it can scoot about the floor. It seemed fairly robust. Is anyone interested, or is it time for it to go to the chair graveyard? Available in Morningside, but I'm away until the 24th, so you can't pick it up before then.

Free: Travel Shoe Shine / Polish Sponges (Comiston EH10) Gifted A selection of little shoe shine polisher kits that they give you when you travel. Most came from the ScotRail Sleeper, but there's some other ones. Maybe you have a lot of shoes to clean? I don't. Available in Morningside.

Free: Microwavable Popcorn (Comiston EH10) Gifted 11 packets of Costco microwavable popcorn NOTE: THE BEST BEFORE DATE IS July 2022. Having said that, I was feeding it to youngsters over the summer and they didn't complain. Yet more food my kids decided they didn't like after I'd bulk-bought it. Available in Morningside.

Free: Steam Iron Cleaner / Descaler (Comiston EH10) Gifted Largely unused (I'd say it's about 80-90% full). It's fairly old - the price sticker says Grays and they closed in 2010. Neither me or my wife remember buying it. Anyone got a dirty or scaled iron they want to freshen up? In Morningside.
