Offer: LifeLink medical alert system (Shoreline near 185th) Gifted - I bought this about 10 years ago for an elderly frail relative who lived alone. We used it for about a year and it has been in the box since then. It requires a landline to plug the console into. You program the console with the phone numbers of people to call in an emergency. It CAN call cell phones and you can even program 911 into it. You record a message on the console, and then when the person presses the emergency button, the console begins automatically calling the numbers one by one until someone answers, at which point it plays the recorded message. This is a completely self-contained standalone system--there is no monitoring by an external company and therefore no monitoring fee. Everything is there, including the instruction manual. Please tell me when you can pick up from my porch...we have a locked gate so I need to know what time you can come so I can unlock the gate for you. And if you are one of the flakes who commits to a pickup and then doesn't show up, DON'T EVEN ASK.

Request: dog washing tub (Shoreline near 185th) Expired - A few weeks ago someone offered a dog washing tub, but I forgot to respond. If that is still available, I need it! Can pick up in north Seattle area. Offer: John Beatty 1809 (Shoreline near 185th) Expired - I think this is a photograph of a very old painting. On the back it says "John Beatty, Born February 9, 1809. It's been passed down in my family for several generations because my grandmother was a Beatty, and the family lore is that the Beatty branch of the family was from Pennsylvania. Any Beatty genealogists out there? I'd hate to give it to a thrift shop; would prefer to find someone with a Beatty connection. 13" wide by 15.75" tall, hardwood frame with glass.

It is MUCH higher quality and better made than modern wicker. When you remove the top lid, there is a storage drawer below. The mottled gold/green color is the artistic flair of my elderly relative...could easily be changed with spray paint. About 23" tall, 18.5" in diameter including the outside legs. Offer: Vintage Soviet Union items (Shoreline near 185th) Gifted - The old Communist Soviet Union broke up in 1991. Before that, in the mid-1980's, I lived in the middle east in an area that was popular with tourists from all over the world. I worked in a souvenir shop that catered to these international tourists. Tourists from the Soviet Union never had cash to buy souvenirs, so they came with items to trade, like Soviet-made soap and powder, and tiny bottles of vodka, and small propaganda lapel pins. This is a set of 10 lapel pins and one miniature Russian face powder that I collected way back then in trade. The largest pin (upper left in the pic) is about 1-3/4" tall, and the powder is about 2" diameter. Please tell me why you want them. Please let me know when you could meet me at the 185th Fred Meyer, and check your spam folder in case my reply gets filtered.

Offer: Crockery for mosaic (Laurelhurst near Providence) Expired - This is a motley collection of broken and or cracked crockery that I've been saving to use for a wild mosaic project (that I will probably never get around to...). Some very old and beautiful antique dishes and one REALLY old platter, a jug and a teapot without handles, a couple ceramic horses with missing legs, an old figurine of a person playing a musical instrument, even some broken cut glass dishes and broken mirror for sparkle. The only thing these have in common is that they are all ceramic or glass and all are cracked or broken. I was imagining using these in a cool and unusual mosaic, but I'll never get around to it. If there are any intrepid mosaic artists out there who could use this collection, tell me when you could pick up from my porch. Located in NE Portland a few blocks away from Providence Hospital

Offer: Antique Victorian era ceramic tiles (Shoreline near 185th) Gifted - Two beautiful antique ceramic tiles, made in England. (Photos show front and back of each.) I was told by someone who collects antiques that these are from the Victorian era (1800s). The blue-green one has a small chip in the bottom left corner. I think they are about 6 inches square, but I carefully wrapped them up in multiple layers of bubble wrap before I posted this and now I don't want to unwrap them again to measure. And by the way, even though the photos make them look like they are different sizes, they are exactly the same size...about 6" square. Please let me know when you could meet me for pickup at the 185th Fred Meyer in Shoreline. Please check your spam folder in case my reply gets filtered.

Offer: White marble slab (Shoreline near 185th) Gifted - If you're a baker, you might know that marble is the best surface for rolling out pastries. This is a slab of white marble that previously topped an antique dresser. I've been using it on my kitchen counter for pastry-making, but I just got a larger piece so I am passing this one on. The front and side edges are gently contoured, and the back part has four holes drilled through it (which I am guessing were probably originally for attaching it to the top of the dresser). It's clean, but there are a couple ancient stains on the top. It's about 3/4" thick, 15.5 inches front to back, and about 27.5" wide. Please tell me when you could pick up in Shoreline. I'll need to know an actual time, because we have a locked fence. Remember to check your junk mail folder in case my reply gets filtered. [And please don't ask for it if you are one of those annoying flakes who asks for items and then doesn't show up.]

Offer: Very vintage party dish set (Shoreline near 185th) Gifted - This is a six-piece vintage serving dish set from the 1960's era when Mad-Men style cocktail parties were all the fashion. It's from a company called California Pottery and the dishes say "CALIF USA L55" on the bottom. The ceramic dishes sit on a lazy susan, which turns freely so your guests can move the crudites to within easy reach! The center is a bowl and it's surrounded by four individual ceramic dishes. Bowl is 6 3/4 inches across. The whole set is approximately 14 inches across at the widest point. One of the orange dishes is cracked and someone in a past generation glued it, but the set is usable either with or without it. Everything else is in perfect condition. Please tell me when you can pick it up, and I will arrange to meet you near the 185th Fred Meyer. PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK MAIL FOLDER in case my reply gets filtered!
