Free: Double Duvet (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted Double size duvet in great condition, has been used for a couple of years but has had its farewell trip to the laundrette. From Ikea, rated warm. Free: small electronics -- please read carefully (Burgess Park SE5) Expired Is anyone collecting components? A couple of items probably not much use as they are but good for taking apart... 1. Cupboard light that's supposed to turn off in the dark (ie when the cupboard door closes). Turns on but stays on! Has a nice magnet for the battery door, LDR (faulty?), 4 white LEDs, nice casing. Circuit board looks accessible once a few screws removed. 2. Slighty scary USB fan. The blades are very rigid and there's no switch so it has dodgy vibes, but the USB is nicely attached to the little gooseneck, and the motor/blades setup is super smooth. Let me know if these (and potentially similar things in the future) are better off in your workspace than the waste reception centre! Small enough to drop through your letterbox if you're fairly nearby, otherwise collection from Southampton Way end of Burgess Park.

Free: fold-flat wardrobe boxes (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted Ikea Komplement thingies for organising wardrobes/drawers that go from 2D to 3D via zips. Nylon fabric reinforced with rigid plastic sides. I've given them a good shower but these have known the inside of an art cupboard and so a couple have some stains (won't affect function of course). Free: stack of colourful filing stationery (Burgess Park SE5) Expired Pile of card folders and file dividers. Was keeping to use the colourful card for crafts but I don't have the space. The folders mostly have sticky labels on and a lot of the dividers have the tabs written on, but it's mostly very usable (and you could just flip them over if you want to use them for their original purpose!) There are more file dividers than it looks like in the photo - maybe as many as 40? Would like the whole lot to go together please. I can post these through your letterbox if you live very close, or collection from near the Southampton Way entrance to Burgess Park. Free: Clothes airer (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted A metal clothes airer. I reckon it's at least 40 years old: it has served us very well! It's fairly heavy and sturdy -- harder to knock over than the lighter ones common at the moment. We've replaced the stoppers on the feet. Made of magnetic steel. One of the bottom-most cross bars is missing (not much use that low anyway), and there are a few small chips to the paint, but nothing that stops it being useful. Free: Partly used DEET insect repellent sprays (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted The black one is propelled aerosol, I'd guess about half full. The pump spray (which I found much less revolting to use) is more full. Used for a specific situation, now no longer needed. These are both the serious DEET formulation, not what you're after for a bit of casual London repelling, and you definitely need to read the label. Fine to only take one of them if that's what you need. I don't reply same-day because I want to give those who aren't constantly online a chance to reply. Free: 5 pillow protectors (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted Five quilted pillow protectors in usable, very clean, condition. Four are the zip-up ones from Ikea (product name Ängsvide/Luddros), final one is the fold-over type of closure. They've had their share of stray colour in the hot wash but obviously they're not display items so that won't affect their usefulness for pillows or for storing textiles. Just ended up with too many. Free: Basic wooden freestanding shelf unit (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted I think this must have come from Ikea originally. It's well-used and wasn't pretty to start with, but is bare pine that could be painted. Pretty sturdy. The shelf height is adjustable with quite a limited number of holes; you could drill more if needed. Dimensions h 110cm d (this side has the metal bracing) 50cm w 54cm Collection from SE5, quite near the Southampton Way entrance to Burgess Park. Free: Rug 133 x 195cm (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted Basic polypropylene rug, grey. In good condition but with a bit of noticeable wear, has been shampooed. From Ikea. We don't smoke or have pets or bedbugs! I have a strong preference to give to someone really local to SE5, so let me know where you're coming from please and some collection times that could work for you. Free: Circle cutting tool (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted You'd probably want to get some more blades for this, but the stylus point is still good and sharp. Good for crafts; children will need close supervision. I'd prefer to give it to someone close by, so let me know where you are please. I can pop it through a letterbox if you're in SE5 or similar. Free: Offcut of tablecloth plastic (Burgess Park SE5) Expired This is an offcut from the clear, soft plastic you can buy in hardware stores off the roll. It's been folded up, and has seen a little bit of use and cleaning so the finish isn't pristine, but I think it could be polished back to that if needed. Cut from a meter square, so the longest bits are 1 meter and the width is from 25-35cm approx. It'd be great to hear from you if you have a use for this; will happily post through a close-by letterbox if that's easiest.

Free: Electric halogen heater (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted As far as I know this is working safely and has an appropriate fuse fitted but you'll obviously need to satisfy yourself of that as well as using it carefully. I don't think I have the printed manual, but it's here online: The top of the three heating lamps doesn't switch on. I suspect a new bulb is needed. The other 2 lamps work fine and that means it's currently 400 or 800 watts: if you replace the bulb (or fix the connection, maybe) it'll be 1200. It has a switch to make it oscillate in a not terribly convincing way. It's quiet and it heats things with radiation (so not the air; you and other surfaces). It's a handy thing to have in a cold flat. Please mention some specific times you could collect over the week, as well as where you're coming from because I prefer to give to people close by.

Free: Cookworks deep fryer (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted **I have given this a good scrubbing, but please be aware that it is definitely in used condition! Oil is stuck to the inside and I don't have the degreasing chemicals that might get it off, but this will obviously happen again when used anyway. Has only been used for veg cooking** Argos Cookworks deep fryer. Works well, but we don't use it often enough to be worth keeping. Please suggest some specific times you could collect over the week. Priority to those close by so please let me know where you're coming from.

Free: Houseplants Pilea peperomioides (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted You can take one or both. One has babies ready for transplanting, or you can put the whole lot in a bigger pot for a fuller effect. Free: Ikea rug (Burgess Park SE5) Gifted Fairly big rug, Ikea Vollöby, 170 x 230 cm. Polypropylene. This has done its duty in our modified corridor of a flat for about 5 years, and while I have shampooed it you can still see where it was most walked-over. You could probably get it cleaner with another round of determined shampooing but it's never going to be perfect. Flat is non-smoking with no pets. Rolled up and ready to go. Will allow folks a day or so to reply; please let me know some times you could collect this weekend or next week, and where you'll be coming from, as I like to give to people close by when possible.
