Free: Christmas biscuit tin music box (Findern CP DE23) This was a M&S (I think) shortbread container in the shape of a house. It has a music box attachment in the top which plays ‘Silent Night’. It’s probably 2 or 3 years old. The other tin in the picture used to contain sweets and is much older. Happy to split and gift either or both. Collection from Heatherton (Littleover). Free: Christmas Lights (Findern CP DE23) Gifted I have a string of 100 white lights for indoor use. They worked fine last year, but they are mains powered and my tree isn’t near a power point any more so I’ve had to switch to battery ones. They have various settings (twinkle, blink, fade etc). Free: Electric Blanket - double (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a heated mattress cover by Slumberland (it fits completely over the mattress). I can’t remember how old it is - probably at least 5 years. It was used last winter and has been washed and stored since then. It has a pre-heat and all-night setting with temperature control. It works fine except that if you are using the pre-heat, it seems to cool down very quickly once you get into bed and turn it off. Instruction booklet included. Free: Poppy seed pods - for growing (Findern CP DE23) Gifted I have a small wildflower patch in my garden and this year there were lots of large red poppies. I’ve left some to re-seed but I have maybe 25-30 seed pods, which is too much for the small space I have. I don’t know anything about harvesting or even if these seeds will grow, but if someone wants to give it a go, I’m offering these pods. Free: Electric Toothbrush (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is an Oral B electric toothbrush with charger, and two unopened brush heads. It brushes teeth okay, but it doesn’t hold a charge for more than a couple of days. If you don’t mind keeping it almost constantly on charge, then you’ll be able to use it. (Note - the charger plugs into a shaver point, not a normal 3-pin power point, but adaptors are easily available.) Collection from Heatherton (Littleover). Free: Solar light string for garden (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a string of I think around 50 star-shaped solar lights for garden decor. It works fine if it gets enough sun to charge up, but I can’t get a good enough position in my garden. It has options like Christmas lights (steady, twinkle, fade, etc). Free: Le Creuset saucepan (Findern CP DE23) Expired This is a small enamelled cast iron saucepan. As you can see from the photo, the handle on the lid is broken, but there is enough there to hold onto. (I believe Le Creuset sell replacement handles, but they’re ridiculously expensive so I never bothered.) Other than that, it’s in perfectly usable condition. Free: Christmas tree storage bag (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is approximately 46x15x10 inches (see photo) and will take a very large tree. In very good condition, it’s just that I only have a 4ft tree and the bag is much too big. Collection from Heatherton (Littleover) ideally by Sunday.

Free: Powerbank (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a portable powerbank in excellent condition. It works very well for charging my phone or my tablet. What it does not have is the trickle charge feature which would allow it to charge smaller items such as headphones which require a lower output. That’s the only reason I’m getting rid of it. It holds a charge for a long time; I’ve used it for an entire weekend away without having to recharge it. It comes with a cable to charge the powerbank itself; you will need to use the charging cables from your own device when you want to use it. Collection only from Heatherton (Littleover). Free: Scented Christmas decorations (Findern CP DE23) Gifted I have this jar of Scentsicles which are basically sticks to hang on an artificial Christmas tree to make it smell like the real thing. (See photo) They are REALLY STRONG and are giving me headaches. But if you are less sensitive or have a big lounge so the smell can be spread out a bit more, they might be right for you. Collect from Heatherton (Littleover) any time, as I can leave them outside for safe collection if I’m not in. Please only respond if you genuinely want them and can collect in the next few days. (The unlabelled piece with white unicorns is a fleecy fabric and is approx 150x80cm.) Free: Vacuum Cleaner (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a Beldray Quick Vac Lite, a hand held one with a small bagless cylinder. Complete with all attachments and instruction booklet. Free: Wooden plant labels (Findern CP DE23) Gifted These are wooden plant labels for vegetables and herbs. They’ve all been used outside in all weathers so aren’t in perfect condition, but still useful. Free: Fat absorb bin (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a plastic container with an absorbent fat trapper. The idea is to pour cooking fat or oil into the trapper, where it is absorbed and then you can throw out the trapper once it’s full, and avoid pouring fat down the sink. I just don’t fry enough to make it worthwhile for me. It comes with two packs of 3 refills. It came from Lakeland, and you can get more refills from their website. Free: Christmas Planner Book (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a notebook, A5 size, for Christmas planning. Free: Terracotta Pots (Findern CP DE23) Gifted Winding down the garden part 1: I have a large number of terracotta pots, with saucers, to gift. Numbers and sizes as follows: 2 x 7in across, 2 x 9in, 2 x 10.5in, 1 x 12in, 1 x 15in, 2 x 14in, 1 x 15in shallow bowl shape. I’ve hosed them down to remove the worst of the soil, but they will all definitely still need a clean. The two 14in pots (in separate photo) have not been cleaned at all, as they are full of soil and are too heavy for me to lift, but if you can help me empty them, you can have them. I am happy to split, but if you’re asking for all of them, please explain why. I want them to go to someone who will use them. Free: Small growhouse (Findern CP DE23) Gifted Winding down the garden part two: This is a narrow growhouse with a plastic frame and wire shelves, and zipped plastic covering. It also comes with a frost protective fleece covering for winter, which I have never used. Dimensions are approximately 57in high, 24in wide and 15in deep.
