Free: Windows (Hearthstone DE4) Three double glazed window units. Two are painted mint green and have multiple panes, including sections that open. One is just a single fixed pane. You might want to replace a blown panel, or be building a garden room, putting up a shed or lean to. If you can use then it is better than taking them to the dump. Free: Butterflies For Crafting (Hearthstone DE4) These butterflies are really pretty and every one is different. They were stuck on the wall, but have come off well and now look like I’ve torn them out of a book. I’m sure they could be used in a creative project of some kind. Could be glued onto cards or used in decoupage style furnishings. They range from the size of a real butterfly (3-4cm) to 10-12cm. Lots of them. For collection from Riber, Matlock.

Free: Corner Shelving (Hearthstone DE4) Opaque glass corner shelving that was in our bathroom. Stands about as tall as a bathroom sink. Should clean up nicely but dusty from storage. Collect from Riber, Matlock.

Free: Beige Carpet and/or Underlay (Hearthstone DE4) Expired I've got a beige carpet available, in reasonable condition. It was 13 foot square or thereabouts, but I cut it to get it out more easily, so it is 9 by 12 plus 9 by 3, plus a smaller square. There is also 13 foot square worth of underlay that can go with it or separately. This carpet was down for some time in a bedroom, but the condition is still pretty decent - no major stains and whilst there are some dents from furniture, these will probably brush out. We are non-smokers, and no pets ever went upstairs, so the carpet doesn't smell or have pet hair or anything like that. Preference if anyone wants to use it in a house, but could also be used to line a pond or insulate a shed/garage. For collection from Riber, Malock. Free: Giant Ikea Pax Wardrobe With White Sliding Doors (Hearthstone DE4) Gifted This is a really big Ikea warbrobe with sliding doors. It is 235cm tall, I'd guess 8 foot tall and nearly six feet wide. There are four drawers and a hanging rail on each side, plus a top compartment, though it is modular and could be assembled with more hanging space or in a different configuration. The front panel has a subtle design like the shadow of tree branches at the top left hand side (everything else is just a reflection of what is in the room). The condition is reasonable - there is a scratch on the right hand central divider, which was there when we bought it ex-display, there are a couple of places where the screws have moved a bit and I think one of the drawers has come apart a little and jumped off the tracks - but that should be easy enough to fix. The lining is wood-effect, with the drawers being a shade darker than the surrounds. I had a play with the Ikea website here and it seems like it might cost about £700 to buy new now, though we spent less than half that when we bought it. If you want it you need to be able to take it apart and reassemble it, as it is too big to get out of the room in one piece. You'll also need to have a big enough vehicle to load it into to take home - each of the two frames is 235cm long and 75cm wide, and so are the two sliding doors. Free: Mats for older VW Golf or similar (Hearthstone DE4) Expired A set of four black floor mats for a VW Golf. These fitted my 2002 or 2005 Golf, but I don't know exactly which models they work with, or whether they'd also work in a Touran or Polo or other related cars. They have the oblong holes for the clips, not the circular ones that are on my 2009 Golf. Some signs of wear on the drivers mat, but in pretty good condition We are in Riber, Matlock. Free: L-shaped corner bath (Hearthstone DE4) Gifted This is a fancy Victoria Plumb L-shaped corner bath. It is brand new but the edge was damaged in delivery (there is damage where I have circled in red, and the piece that broke off has unfortunately been lost), so it would be perfect to use if your bath is located in a nook or you are creative enough to make a surround that covers the damage. Or it could be put to use as a sandpit or lined to make a pond or other use. I just don't want to stick something large, new and useful into landfill! Does not include any panels or plumbing fixtures, just the bath itself. We are in Riber, Matlock. I would prefer collection today or tomorrow.

Free: aluminium pressure cooker (Hearthstone DE4) Expired a Prestige aluminium pressure cooker with 6 litre pan. Good working condition, and the model that is still for sale, but may need a clean and the seal checking as it has been in storage a while. Also the top of the valve got slightly melted when I put it down on a hob that was still hot, but this is just decorative and it still functions perfectly. It is a really useful large pan for making rice, potatoes, soups and stews. I just got given another pressure cooker and don't have room to keep two. We are in Riber, Matlock. Free: Child's pink Micro brand helmet for cycling/scooting (Hearthstone DE4) Expired We are giving away one Micro brand pink helmet for cycling/scooting to suit a child aged 5-12. It has never been involved in any incidents and still looks brand new. I think it was the slightly larger size for a young child, but there are velcro pads inside and a bit you use to adjust the fit. Request: Doc Marten Boots (size 5) (Hearthstone DE4) Expired My 13 year old daughter is looking for a pair of size 5 Doc Marten Boots. She doesn't want to use all her saved pocket money on a new pair until she is sure she'd find them comfortable (she's quite sensitive to the feel of socks and shoes, fabric textures etc). So if it happens that you have a pair stashed away that you don't wear any more, she'd very much appreciate them, and I'd happily collect from anywhere in the area. Any design/colour is fine.

Free: Lots of cut flower food sachets (Hearthstone DE4) Expired If you cut flowers from your garden to bring inside, do flower arrangements for a church or events, or buy flowers from a market, this flower food is supposed to extend their life. Collected from buying supermarket flowers and not needing multiple sachets in one vase. Didn’t want to stick them in landfill. There are probably a hundred sachets in the tin, including both powder and liquid food. Tin itself is rusty, but I imagine the unopened sachets last forever! For collection from Riber, near Matlock.

Free: Media stand - chrome and glass (Hearthstone DE4) Gifted This is a stand with layers to hold a TV, games console/DVD player/satellite receiver and media, or perhaps it can be a computer table, or a side table. It is 100cm long, 55cm wide and 70cm tall. Good condition, as shown in the photographs. The glass panels come off for transport. For collection from Riber, near Matlock, ASAP.

Free: A large bag of plastic hangers (Hearthstone DE4) Gifted These hangers include the ones with clips and the ones for trousers as well as those for tops. Just an assortment that came with purchases, not the kind you'd buy as a set, but lots of them! For collection from Riber, Matlock ASAP.

Free: Wooden bunk bed or twin beds (Hearthstone DE4) Gifted These two wooden bed frames can sit separately as twin beds or on top of each other as bunks. They are solidly made, and there is a matching wooden ladder to get up to the top level, and a guard rail that can be attached to stop a child rolling out. Made in the USA, from some heavy American pine, they were probably quite expensive in their day but they are showing some signs of age now. We cut the foot board to fit one under a sloping dormer ceiling (as shown in the photo) but the piece can be easily reattached if you prefer - it would just need some dowels and wood glue. We've owned these for 10 years, in a clean, non-smoking household, and they've had no contact with pets or any known allergens. There may be some small stickers and other signs of being used by small girls, and I think one of them drew a shape on it that might need sanding off. One or two slats of the bottom bunk have been repaired, and the upper bunk has a sort of board base. It doesn't come with any matresses, but it can take standard single bed size (we used some cheap foam ones). We've taken them apart to make them possible to transport, but they go together reasonably easily if you have some basic tools to screw the slats in place and tighten the bolts that hold the frame together. For collection from Riber, near Matlock, so please tell me when you could collect if you want to claim them. You'll need a largish vehicle, as the parts are heavy and several are 6 foot in length, and the board is just over 3 foot in width.

Free: Child's green bike or scooter helmet (Hearthstone DE4) Gifted This is a good quality bright green child's helmet that we bought when we got the kids Micro brand scooters. Free: Two decoupage penguins to finish (Hearthstone DE4) Expired These two penguin were started by my daughter but not finished. You could finish them or start over, with any kind of decorating technique so it seems a shame to stick them in the bin. Let me know if you want to give them a new home. Request: Wild fungi/mushrooms growing locally (Hearthstone DE4) Expired A bit of an unusual ask, but I'm trying to learn about local fungi and I'd like to see, photograph, identify and occasionally pick them (to take a spore print, look at them under a microscope, set them in resin, or - very rarely - to eat). I've so far identified about 125 species within 3 miles of where I live. It has given me a reason to get outside and walk more, and to learn how to identify the different types. So if you have mushrooms or fungi (or something unusual growing that might be fungi) growing in your lawn, on some wood or a tree, or have seen any local to you please let me know. Ideally please share a photo. And if you are a local forager or fungi fan, drop me a note if you'd like to meet up and share finds!

Free: Ottoman seat / chest (Hearthstone DE4) Gifted As shown in photo, this is a lovely ottoman that has seen better days. It would make a great project for someone to recover and repaint, and is in good solid condition except for the fabric and cosmetic appearance. Kindly donated by another freegle use, I intended to do it up myself but haven’t had the time or space. We are having a big clear out so I’d rather give it on to someone else.
