Vintage local and national newspapers (Barnstaple EX31) Gifted 5d - A selection of local and national newspapers and cuttings, mostly from the 1910s to the 1960s. Some are damaged and/or incomplete, but most are intact and readable, with a wealth of interesting historical information. National newspapers include The Times and The Express. Local newspapers include The Bideford Gazette, Ilfracombe Chronicle, Evening Post (Bristol) and The North Devon Journal & Herald (one copy of the latter is dated 1893!). Events covered include the assassination of President Kennedy, the Lynmouth Flood Disaster, and VE Day! The photos shown here are a small selection. I asked the Records office at the Barnstaple Libarary if they would like this material, but they were not interested. It would be such a shame to just recycle these papers, so I'm hoping a Freegler reading this would like to give them a good home. I cannot keep the papers indefinitely, so if nobody has expressed interest within a fortnight of this offer going live, I will regreattably have to put them in the recycling bag.

Black Faux Leather 2-Seater Sofa with Detachable Feet (Barnstaple EX31) Gifted 1y - Black faux leather 2-seater sofa with detachable feet. Fire Safety label attached. As can seen from the photo, there is a split in the middle, small cracks & splits on the seats, and a few small cracks at the end of left-hand armrest. However, it may suit somebody for temporary use, or for use in a shed, garage, etc. Dimensions: Width: Approx 4' 2" / 157 cm Height: Approx 2' 4" / 64 cm (with feet) or 1' 9" / 54cm (without feet) Depth (front to back): Approx 2' 8" / 82cm I need to dispose of this sofa urgently, therefore I will be offering it to whoever can collect it the earliest. Needs to be collected from Barnstaple town centre. I will be happy to help carry it from my property to your vehicle (you should be able to park outside - loading permitted).

57 x Recordable Cassette Tapes (Barnstaple EX31) Expired 1y - Box of 57 recordable cassette tapes, mainly D90s, all in good condition. Most, if not all, of the tapes have music on them, which can of course be recorded over. Some have inlays with writing on, some have unmarked inlays, and others have none.

Wooden shoe rack (Barnstaple EX31) Gifted 1y - Wooden rack for shoes or other items. Made from softwood, and rather lightweight and wobbly, so only suitable for light items. Or just break it up for kindling... Approximate dimensions in inches: Width 70" / Height 14" / Depth 10"

Assorted craft items (Barnstaple EX31) Gifted 1y - Bundle of craft items, too many to list individually - rubber stamps, embellishments, stickers, felt animals, cards, ribbons, tiny coloured buttons, etc. - zoom in on the second photo for a better idea. Some packs / sheets are part-used, but as you can see from the photo, there are still a lot of perfectly useable items here. Also included: 2 x large scrapbooks (unused) 11 x sheets of A4 coloured aluminium card (opened pack of 12, one sheet missing) Ideal for crafts, card-making, keeping the young 'uns occupied, etc.
