Request: old wooden bowling ball (Hollingbury BN1) Hi - I am after an old wooden bowling ball. It must be wooden - They used to be made of a wood called Lignum Vitae and I am after a very small amount of this wood. Just one is fine. Request: Sledge Hammer, complete or just the head - 8lb or 9lb (Hollingbury BN1) Expired Hello - I am looking for a Sledge Hammer, or just the 'head' of one. Condition is unimportant, but the weight is - 8 or 9 pounds. The weight can sometimes be found marked on the 'underside' of the head somewhere. 8 or 9 lbs is on the light side for a sledgehammer; I am happy to take a look if you are unsure of the weight. Free: Helly Hanson Duffel bag / Rucksack, 45L?, somewhat tatty (Hollingbury BN1) Expired This is a somewhat tatty but high quality duffel bag cum rucksack from Helly Hanson. There are hidden chest straps to turn it into a rucksack. It is made from a high quality strong and waterproof reinforced material. The original spec. says 50Litre capacity, but I think that is a stretch. more like 45 or so I'd guess. Some of the material has worn a bit, and the condition of the bag is a bit worse than in the photos - there is some mould on the trim etc. - but this is a high quality bag and it would be a shame to throw it. I think a spray with bleach and a wash in a tumble dryer would make it perfectly serviceable for some uses. Collection by arrangement from Hollingbury area

Free: box of A4 stiff 'leatherboard' card for craft or binding (Hollingbury BN1) Gifted A part-used box of A4 'leatherboard' - stiff embossed card, used for binding handouts etc. The card is of a maroon colour and has a leather pattern embossed on it, hence the name. Free: Steel Wire Mesh sheet (Hollingbury BN1) Gifted A piece of Steel Wire mesh; the piece itself is about 90cm x 95cm; the mesh width is 50mm or so. Useful as part of a pet cage, or around the garden; I used the rest of the sheet to make a large garden sieve for compost, it works well. Collection by prior arrangement from Hollingbury area.

Free: Child's Theatre, for puppets etc. Needs some TLC (Hollingbury BN1) Gifted This is a small and old-ish foldable Theatre for putting on puppet shows or similar for small children. It has a front with curtains, foldable sides and a rear painted screen. About 4ft in height. It has been stored in an outhouse for some years and does require a bit of TLC. I have tried to show this on the photos. Mainly, there is a bit of snail damage to some of the front and rear paintwork. One of the wooden struts probably needs a bit of cleaning up as well. With a bit of craft and imagination it could easily be restored to something to give joy to small children. Collection by prior arrangement from the Hollingbury area. Please give some indication of intended use in case I have to choose between interested people.

I bought these from Lidl or Aldi some years ago. They have been unused since; this might be a good thing or a bad thing. I am not currently in a position to recharge or test these. They might be of use to someone with a decent charger and some specialised use - maybe a maglite or similar Note that it is possible that none of these batteries work; alternatively they might be great. Free: Vintage carbon steel wok (Hollingbury BN1) Gifted I have had this wok for about 35 years! It is still going strong but I have decided to move it on. It is a 'proper' carbon steel, round bottomed wok, of commercial quality. Woks like this have to be kept seasoned, and this one has been, as you can see from the lovely black patina, which acts like a non-stick coating. This is easy to maintain - don't put it in the dishwasher or use detergent, wash with water and a scrubbing pad, then re-season by heating up with a little oil and wipe round with a bit of kitchen roll. With a little care like this it should last almost for ever. 12inches in diameter, with wooden handle. You will need a wok stand or a proper burner. Collection from Hollingbury by prior arrangement

Request: long handled sledge hammer sought (Hollingbury BN1) Expired Hi - I'm after a sledge hammer of weight 7lbs to 10lbs, ie. quite light. Condition is not very important - I want it for fitness, not for actual hammering! But it needs to have a longer handle, ie. not a 'club' hammer or similar.
