Free: Little toy piano for baby/toddler (West Springfield, VA) Gifted From Baby Einstein. Wooden toy piano that works fine but looks a bit worn/loved. Works by just touching the rainbow keys (the black ones don’t do anything), and includes 3 cards for tunes that you can play along to.

Free: Colorful kids wall hanging (West Springfield, VA) About 44.5”x24”. Fabric hanging that has a dowel inside and loops for nails. Cute for kids room. Note a little bit of staining — this has been around since probably the early 80s so it’s seen multiple kids’ rooms. : )

Request: Leis (West Springfield, VA) Expired I need 10 leis (Hawaiian-style flower necklaces) for a party next week. Just the plastic ones, like from party city. Would prefer not to buy new plastic if anyone has extras lying (lei-ing?) around. Thank you in advance!!

Free: spray pail and diaper sprayer (West Springfield, VA) Gifted Used and loved but no longer need (although very handy for spraying off other grungy stuff into the toilet, such as muddy shoes, not just cloth diapers)! The spray hose attaches to a standard toilet — very easy diy, no plumber needed. Some people do use them as bidets but it’s cold water only (brr). The pail is super handy for clipping on cloth diapers and preventing any mess/splatter. The pail has a hole in the bottom and is designed to fit right over a toilet. See my other post about cloth diapers, too — they would pair well together for someone just starting out.

Free: Cloth diapers (West Springfield, VA) Expired Various cloth diapers and covers. Some pockets, some AIOs, a few fitteds. Also some wool covers and lanolin if you are interested! Mostly one size (typically fits babies 10-35 pounds). All used. Some higher-end brands such as thirsties and lighthouse kids. Mostly gender-neutral, but maybe one or two are on the girly side. Lovingly collected and am very sad to let them all go, but we’re fully potty trained for a year now and they won’t do anyone any good just sitting there! Really want them to go to a good home. Happy to give you a bit of a tutorial if you’re a beginner user of cloth diapers or are unfamiliar with wool. Let me know which type(s) you’re most interested in.

Free: Ceiling fan (West Springfield, VA) Gifted Nice, working 5-blade ceiling fan, Hampton Bay brand. Takes four bulbs. Dimmable and (I think) 3 speeds, maybe 4. Nothing is wrong with it, but we moved our kids to bunk beds and the fan blades were too close to the upper bunk for comfort! Forgot to take a photo of it when it was actually on our ceiling, oops.

Free: long, sheer curtains (96") and rod (West Springfield, VA) Gifted In good condition! They have grommets for hanging on curtain rod. Curtain rod and hardware also available. The color of the curtains is a little bit hard to describe -- in some lights they look a little bit more sage-colored, and in some lights more colorless. They feature a branch pattern that starts about midway down.

Free: Melissa and Doug magnet calendar (West Springfield, VA) Gifted A daily magnet calendar for kids. 2023 is the last year it has, but you could paint over the 2021 and 2022 magnets, perhaps, to make 2024 and 2025!

Free: Italian-themed gift basket (West Springfield, VA) Gifted I won a gift basket today! I went in and took the things I wanted (like pasta and wine…sorry) but there’s a bunch of nice stuff in here I don’t need but you might enjoy. Includes: waffle cookies, breadsticks, milk chocolate bar, vanilla wafers, 2 cloth tote bags, a clock (that seems to have been damaged in transit but is still kinda ticking?), a pizza recipe book, dried basil leaves, an apron, a dish cloth. All brand new. Plus the basket itself! Would love it to be picked up today, so let me know when you can come. Thanks!
