Free: Egg boxes - mixed sizes (Near Newtown, Powys LD1) Expired Boxes as seen, mainly for 6 and 12 eggs. 1 box for 10 and 2 trays for 36. Production low since losses to mink! Happy to drop off in Newtown or Llandod directions when out and about anyway.

Free: Cat drinking fountain (Near Newtown, Powys LD1) Expired Recently gifted by another freegler, this works perfectly, to the extent that it cured the cat of drinking from the taps within a couple of weeks. He has happily transitioned to still water now, so I'd be happy if the item could be freegled on.

Free: Armchair, manual footrest (Near Newtown) Expired This is not a recliner. Backrest not affected by raising footrest. Comfortable in both positions. Footrest most easily raised by companion/carer, as it takes a little strength and determination from seated. Of course, the fit and the strong need to put their feet up too! Just pointing out that this is not suitable for an elderly solo person! I had it second hand about 5 years ago, with the armrests predictably a little worn. It has been covered with a throw, in non-smoking home, and remains in pretty good, clean condition. Mechanics work smoothly and perfectly.

Free: 2 large Christmas trees (Near Newtown) Expired These trees need to be felled to give the sycamore space...so if anyone knows they can use a 20ft tree, with a 10ft base - ?school, care home, church, village hall? - then that would be something ticked off your "to do" list...and a happy tick on mine!

Request: Light Garden Spade (Near Newtown) Expired Does anyone (between Newtown and Llandod) have a shed where spades have been breeding over the years? Sorry to say I have lost 2 this year to wild campers...lent to them to remove turf before making a fire. Feel inclined to chain any future spade to a stake concreted in the ground...but how wild would that be?!

Free: Teasel babies...popular last year (Near Newtown) Expired I did number the following descriptions to match the pictures...but the picture order, when posted, keeps changing! I think you can work it out! * Teasel babies easily removable from gravel..at the moment! * Slow off the mark this year, due to drought, but demonstrating 2 year's growth. Babies will shoot to 5-10 feet next year, attracting butterflies...and, over the following winter, goldfinches. * Still fun as perches around the bird table, in their 3rd year...and have been used, some years, as sweet pea supports! * No picture. Final use, decorative, or, in short lengths, great for starting the fire! Win - Win - Win - Win!

Request: Light Garden Spade (Near Newtown) Expired Does anyone (between Newtown and Llandod) have a shed where spades have been breeding over the years? Free: Elderflowers and Nettle Seeds (Near Newtown) Expired Small farm offering guaranteed pollution- and pesticide-free forage. At 1000ft elder flowers are only just coming into bloom...so if you have missed to pick in lower, earlier regions...or if you just can't get enough...or only just found enough bottles....! Seeds of the female nettle are in that super food category...and they are fantastically abundant this year!

Free: Oregano root bundles (Near Newtown) Expired This oregano, in flower, is much much loved by bees. I knew the leaf mass wouldn't survive the move to make way for scaffolding, so I trimmed it and am drying it in the sun. The root bundles are soaking, and should transplant happily - would be happier transplanted than living in a drakepond (the duck is sitting!)! Happy to hear from you if you can give (some of) it a home ☺

Request: Wrist Ribbons ford Dancing (Near Newtown) Expired A dozen school children will be presenting a couple of folk style dances at the Robert Owen birthday celebration in Newtown on 13th May. If someone or some other group has a bunch of wrist ribbons stashed away, it would be lovely to add some (any) colour and fluttter to the occasion!

Free: Prolific, Runaway Strawberry Plants (Near Newtown) Gifted I am winding down on shepherding, and would turn the farm over to strawberries if i weren't at 1000ft! I planted 6 in the orange container, and the following year the runners had invaded the rectangular bed. Last year they set off along and across the paths...from which you are welcome to "weed" whatever your garden and your picking time can manage. Maybe alert your neighbours...
