Free: C-cell batteries (Cambridge, The Port) 27d - The battery powered alarm clock that I used to use these batteries for has finally given up the ghost. Since that was the only use I had for these batteries, it's time to pass them along to someone who can use them. 1 C-cell CVS Alkaline, "Best by" date of Jan. 2029, and 3 CVS Max Alkaline batteries, "Best by" date of July 2029. Easy outside pickup between Central and Kendall Squares. Free: Packing material with holes (Cambridge, The Port) Expired 117d - Several pieces of spongy packing material with holes in them. Originally used to pack oranges for shipping. These might be useful for storing Christmas tree balls, if you put a pieces of cardboard between the layers. I'd prefer to pass along all of them, but if you only need one or two, at least they won't end up in a landfill. Easy outside pick-up between Central and Kendall Squares.

Free: Lots of chopsticks (unused) (Cambridge, The Port) Expired 151d - I did a lot of take-out during the pandemic quarantine, and collected lots of sets of chopsticks. A bag of 30 or so of them is available for your dining pleasure. Easy outside pick-up between Central and Kendall Squares.

Free: Small cardboard boxes (Cambridge, The Port) Expired 161d - Several small cardboard boxes that might be useful if you are mailing Christmas presents, or other items. Each month has a colorful illustration of a significant observation in that month, and the calendar notes many events in the history of Civil Rights in the U.S. Easy outside pickup between Central and Kendall Squares. Free: 2024 Calendar (Cambridge, The Port) Gifted 173d - Yikes! I have already received two calendars from the Union of Concerned Scientists, and today I received a third. The calendar features an interesting political cartoon for each month. I gave away the second, now I'm giving away this one. Easy outside pickup between Central and Kendall Squares. Free: 2024 Wall Calendar (Cambridge, The Port) Gifted 184d - A 2024 wall Calendar from the Union of Concerned Scientists. Each month has a political cartoon. Easy outside pick-up between Central and Kendall Squares. Free: Old orange crates, 3 (Cambridge, The Port) Gifted 249d - Three old-style orange crates (there's only 2 in the picture). Clean, not dusty. Might be useful for moving, or whatever your imagination can come up with. Easy outside pickup between Central and Kendall Squares.

Free: Three silk dresses, w. some damage (Cambridge, The Port) Gifted 249d - I had these three dresses dry cleaned, because I was going to donate them to Boomerangs. But the dry cleaning showed up some unknown damage, and there are some sections of the fabric that are deteriorated. But there's still plenty of good, undamaged silk fabric that might be usable for other projects. Easy outside pickup between Central and Kendall Squares; I can put them in a plastic bag if it's a rainy day.
