Request: Angle grinder (Church Preen SY6) Good Afternoon, I am looking for an angle grinder, one which will take a stone-cutting disc big enough to go through a paving slab in one cut. I have a small one but each slab would take two cuts, and I have a lot to cut. Make and age is not important so long as it works. Please can anybody help me? Free: One-person Slow Cooker (Church Preen SY6) Expired I have for disposal a one-person slow cooker by Cookworks. It is in working order but has only ONE handle, so it would need to be handled with oven mitts or a tea towel. It is too good for the dump; can anyone make use of it? Request: Bedside Rug (Church Preen SY6) Expired Good Afternoon, I am looking for a bedside rug to replace my existing one, which is getting a bit threadbare and tattered(like me really). The existing rug is approx. 54 by 27 inches, or 140cm by 70cm for those who speak metric. That size or something close to it would be ideal. Colour is not important. Please can anybody help me? Request: Blackout Curtains (Church Preen SY6) Expired I am looking for a pair of curtains which will keep light out of an east-facing bedroom. Dark colours and heavy material, preferably lined. The existing curtains have what I think is called "pencil pleating", where you put hooks into the tape and clip them to the rail. The window recess is 48 inches wide and the existing curtains have a drop of 53 inches. Please can anyone help me? I can collect in Shrewsbury or the immediate neighbourhood at any reasonable time. Free: Microwave NOT WORKING (Church Preen SY6) Expired Russell Hobbs manual microwave, silver-grey. Not currently working, it makes the noises, the plate rotates, but nothing gets hot. I suspect it is something electronic which is beyond me to sort. If you can fix it, or know anyone who can, or if you can use the bits for the time machine you are building in your shed, you are welcome to it. Request: Bodrahn "Tipper" (drumstick) (Church Preen SY6) Received Some kind soul freegled me a bodrahn, a single-skinned hand drum used in Celtic music. It is usually played with a double-ended drumstick known as a "beater" or "tipper" (I think) but it didn't come with one. You can't get the right sound with anything else and I don't know anywhere that sells them. Is there anyone who has one they would like to go to a new home? Request: Canon BJC-4300 Bubblejet Printer. (Church Preen SY6) Expired Good Afternoon, My trusty old Canon BJC-4300 Bubblejet printer appears to have died on me; naturally it has done so just after some kind soul Freegled me some ink cartridges. If you have one gathering dust after an upgrade I would be happy to give it a new home. If you don’t have that exact model I would be just as glad of anything that takes the BC-20 black ink cartridge. Please can anybody help me? Request: Digital Set-top Box. (Church Preen SY6) Expired I am one of the few who still record to VHS tapes. I can find a home for a set-top box to go between the recorder and the TV. If you have one which you are wondering what to do with, wonder no more. I will glad to have it. I would need a working remote with it, and TWO SCART sockets; without two sockets I won't be able to use it. Free: Kettles For Goblin Teasmades. (Church Preen SY6) Expired UPDATE. One these has been claimed, the other is still available. The longest of long shots I know; I have two kettles made for the Goblin Teasmade. They need descaling, and a good external clean, but they both work. If you have a Teasmade mouldering away for want of a kettle this is a good chance to give it a new lease of life. If you are interested please reply as soon after as may be, ideally by email.
