OFFERED: A handmade tapestry picture depicting an Alpine scene, measuring 35 cm x 50 cm approx.. It is slightly pulled out of square, so has a slightly rhomboid appearance, but could probably be stretched back to its original shape for framing, if required.

OFFERED: I have 3 x 4-Ring folders surplus to requirements. All are in good condition. All are PVC-covered cardboard construction. The black and blue ones have a clear plastic cover to the front and the spine for inserting identification information, etc.. The green one bears the logo for ACCESS Credit Cards, where I was given it back in the early 1980s!

OFFERED: I have 6 x 2-Ring folders surplus to requirements. All are in good condition, though the pink one is slightly dog-eared at the corners. The pink and brown ones are paper-covered cardboard construction. The black one is PVC-covered cardboard. One red one is PVC-covered cardboard with a clear cover and spine for inserting identification information, etc., and the other red one is a softer plastic cover.

Old School Books - German Language novels, with margin notes (Primrose LA1)
OFFERED: I have no idea why I have kept these so long, but I have three of my old German lesson school books (1974/75), complete with pencil margin notes of either the odd translation of a word or phrase, or just a clarification of what was going on in the plot. Irrungen, Wirrungen, by Theodor Fontane Und Sagte Kein Einziges Wort, by Heinrich Boll Tonio Kroger, by Thomas Mann All are rather worn, from being carried around in a school briefcase for months, and the spine of Tonio Kroger has been repaired with sticky tape. The pages of the Heinrich Boll book are quite yellowed around the edges. (I don't THINK I wrote anything rude in them...) May be of interest to anyone studying German, or who is just a Germanophile!

OFFERED: 6 x Lever Arch folders in black and mottled grey, most in good condition. All are 30cm high, 28cm wide and 7cm deep. The three black ones are black PVC covered cardboard, and have the University of Leeds name and logo on the front covers. These and the glossy mottled grey folder with the pale interior are all in good condition. The other two grey folders are a lot older and a bit more worn, but are still serviceable.

OFFERED: German-made Fine China Dinner Service, comprising: 4 x Dinner Plates 4 x Side Plates 4 x Bowls 4 x Coffee Cups (1 with tiny chip to far edge, if right-handed!) 5 x Saucers (2 with large chip to edge, 1 with tiny chip to edge) 1 x Tea/Coffee pot 1 x Milk/Cream Jug 1 x Sugar Bowl 1 x Salt and Pepper Cruet Set This set is a few decades old, but I am unsure exactly when it was bought. It would once have been a 6-settings set, but various items got broken over the years. Most of the pieces are in excellent condition, but three saucers and one mug have chips to them, as described above. Without those, I would have taken the set to a charity shop, but none of them would want chipped items of course. I reckon it is a fairly delicate set, so may not cope with rough handling, if that is a consideration for your household!

OFFFERED: Three aluminium picture frames, each with a pair of plastic sheets which pictures can be sandwiched between. As you can see, the plastic has mostly yellowed quite noticeably, but can probably be replaced if you can source similar plastic, perhaps from old document wallets or similar. Or leave them as they are if you like sepia pictures! Each frame measures 8.5" x 5", with the visible picture area measuring 6" x 5" - perfect for 6" x 4" photos or postcards. They can be wall-mounted to suit pictures in either "portrait" or "landscape" format.

OFFERED: Two old football programmes, collected by my late aunt who was a passionate Tottenham Hotspur fan. These programmes are for two away games of theirs against Sheffield Wednesday (Feb 22nd 1986) and Manchester City (Feb 10th 2001). The 1986 one has some creasing to the pages at the bottom corners, but the 2001 one is relatively unblemished.

This device is intended to be used by someone who may struggle to get up out of a bed, or who needs to grab hold of something in order to reposition themselves while in bed. This version is compatible only with a slatted bed base, and NOT suitable for a divan base. It must be securely strapped to the bed frame in the correct position for the user, and the weight of the mattress and the person in the bed are what keep it securely in position.

OFFERED: Sturdy wood and vinyl-covered foam footstool, with the foam meeting required fire regulations. I bought this from a charity shop some years ago which labeled it "Leather footstool". An innacurate description, as it turned out, and gradually the vinyl outer cover started to flake, until it became the unsightly item you see in the photos! It is a solid thing though, which deserves a longer life. If you are skilled at re-upholstery, or just fancy giving it a go, this could be the item for you!

OFFERED: Large wheeled stool, constructed very similarly to a computer chair, finished in red fabric, and measuring approximately 18" x 18" square. This item is in good condition, has a lever to make it go up and down, and spins VERY freely! It has a fire label, though it is a bit vague as to which fire regulations it refers to. Hard to imagine it could pre-date the 1988 Regulations, but I cannot guarantee that it doesn't.

I couldn't get it to do anything when I put a couple of batteries in it, but then again I have no idea what I am doing with this sort of thing! Perhaps you have the right connecting bits and fancy giving it a try... The outer case is in very good condition!
