Request: Crab apples (Clermiston EH12) 4d - Our crab apple tree isn’t producing fruit yet - wondering if anyone (preferably on the west side of Edinburgh) has excess they are happy to give away, of a variety suitable for jelly making? Free: Fresh bay leaves (Clermiston EH12) Withdrawn 80d - Our bay tree has had a heavy prune. Just wondering if anyone wants bay leaves before they go to the bonfire? They’re lovely fresh in cooking or of course you can dry them to keep for later!

Free: Pair of vintage lightshades (Clermiston EH12) Gifted 80d - A pair of cream/beige vintage light shades for ceiling lights. Need a good clean, but otherwise in good condition apart from a mark on one as shown in the photo. It might come out with cleaning but you wouldn’t really notice it up on the ceiling anyway.

Free: Children’s things - tables, play kitchen etc. (Clermiston EH12) Expired 125d - This is on Fox Covert Avenue in Clermiston. Not my stuff - I will take this down if I see everything has gone, but I can’t promise it’s all still there. Kids’ play kitchen, play cleaning set and gardening set, a couple of tables and a chair. Free: Frog ornament (Clermiston EH12) Expired 156d - Small frog ornament - finger for scale. Clay with glaze, slight cracks in the glaze but only noticeable if you look closely

Free: Cotoneaster saplings (Clermiston EH12) Gifted 168d - Does anyone want these before they get disposed of? Self-seeded in the garden - there will be others as well

Free: Box of 22 cans of beer, past BBE date (Clermiston EH12) Gifted 185d - 22 cans of beer, various kinds, from Flavourly. This was in the house when we moved in. Best before date is 2020. Any interest before they are thrown out? Free: Broken picture frame (Clermiston EH12) Gifted 188d - Large gold coloured picture frame to take a 16 inch by 23 inch picture. The frame is plastic, not wood. It is broken but could be fixed, except there is a small piece missing in the corner as shown. Probably could be filled in by someone with the patience!

Thanks in advance Free: Dog treats - chewy braids (Clermiston EH12) Gifted 339d - Three boxes (x12 braids per box, but not all boxes quite full) of dog chewy braids, beef flavour, low fat. They are past their best before date (May 2023) but they aren’t really the kind of thing that goes off. They unfortunately don’t agree with my dog but he did like them!

Free: Torch (Clermiston EH12) Gifted 1y - Old torch, takes 4x D batteries. I assume it works but haven’t tested it as I don’t have the batteries for it. It looks fine
