Free: Fitbit versa2 not working (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted Two years old. My diagnosis is that the rechargeable battery has failed. I’m not planning to organise a repair although there are companies who specialise. It won’t be waterproof after repair and my partner uses it for swimming. Charger available too. A keen bod might wish to try replacing battery but it’s more techy than for a watch.

Free: Large planter (Near Cameron Toll EH16) This is a very large heavy duty plastic garden planter suitable for a large shrub such as a hydrangea or camellia. It is a little damaged around the rim but still serviceable.

Free: Kniphophia (red hot poker) (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted I am lifting and dividing my red hot poker clump to rejuvenate it. I have several large clumps to give away. The picture is a specimen image. I suggest you divide the clumps further and plant with compost and some fertiliser.

Free: Fence paint sprayer (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted Ronseal fence sprayer. Frankly I couldn’t get it to work satisfactorily with my chosen fence paint. But maybe if you use it with Ronseal’s own stuff you’ll be more successful.

Free: Crocosmia (Montbretia) corms (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted I’ve been digging up my patch of Montbretia (Crocosmia Masoniorum). These have an orange flower. The corms can be planted this month or next.

Free: 3 x large buddleia shrubs in pots (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted Three buddleia shrubs known commonly as the butterfly bush because it attracts large numbers of butterflies in August. One is white, one is the standard pale purple and I think the other is red. Take any one or all three. The containers are old and two are perished. You could take the buddleia out of the containers and transport them as bare root shrubs if that is easier for you.

Free: Sturdy packaging tubes for posting (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted 8cm diameter, 95cm internal length with end caps in place, 97cm overall length. I had carpet threshold bars delivered. Suit rolled up papers etc.

Free: Battery operated indoor lights (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Expired White tiny LED lights on green string requiring 3xAA batteries. Suitable for child’s room at any time of the year. Unused.

Free: Tiny LED multicoloured lights x 2 (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted These are plug in. Might be indoor use only but I’m not sure. Were last used Xmas 2022 but I think they work. About 4m per set. See also my other offers of lights if interested.

Free: Whirligig cover needs repair (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted Grey heavy duty cover for whirligig. I’m replacing with the same model because it’s been great and would still do service. I have a bag of the same fabric you can take. It came in that. You could use the material from the bag to make an effective patch for the end that is damaged.

Free: Pink cherry lights: Xmas/any time (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted Lights are definitely pink. So you might not fancy them for Xmas but something more general, like a wee child’s bedroom. They’ve been used outside in the past. I didn’t use them this year and don’t plan to use them again. I’m not totally sure that they all still work but you’re welcome to them. Free: Two sets of indoor Xmas lights (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted I think they work although I didn’t use them this year and don’t plan to use them again. I wouldn’t have kept them had they been know to be non-working.

Free: Food containers with lids (20) (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted I’m reducing the number of plastic containers I have. These are ideal for freezing casseroles, fruit, meat etc. These all have lids that fit.

Free: Ironing board requires repair (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Expired This large ironing board has been a great servant but it’s time for us to replace it. It requires a repair to the top of one of the legs as shown in the photos. It needs a new pad and a cover as well.

Free: Mixed single & double sockets (Near Cameron Toll) Gifted Standard white plastic plates for single and double electric sockets plus one fused spur.

Free: 5 lever lock plus 4 keys (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted I changed my front door lock. I’m giving the old one away plus the other bits and pieces. Some keys work better than others. It’s 3 inch (81mm) from faceplate to the back of the lock. 57mm from faceplate to the hole for the handle bar.

Free: Microwave/freezer food containers (Near Cameron Toll EH16) Gifted 40 food containers with lids. Perfect for freezer. They stack efficiently. Each holds enough casserole, for example, for two portions. These containers are used but all been through dishwasher, some many times. I just have way too many. They are microwaveable as well. You can have as many or as few as you want.
