Schwarzkopf hair colour developer (Davisville)
Gifted
I don't really know what this is for - it's some kind of "professional" i.e. salon stuff for hair colouring. It contains 12% hydrogen peroxide (vs 3% that you buy at the drugstore). If you know exactly what this is for then go for it; if you're not sure, then it probably isn't something to experiment on your hair with! I bought it at the Sally Anne store thinking it was pure 12% hydrogen peroxide, but then discovered it's a thick white gel, so not useful to me. There is also no expiration date on this, so beware. I take no responsibility if it turns your hair green or something...

Expired Nestlé instant coffee (Davisville)
Gifted
I have 11+1 jars of assorted Nestlé (Nescafé) coffee with "Best Before" dates over the last few years. All are sealed/unopened. I'm not giving these away *because* they are expired - it's just that I don't much like the varieties and so have ignored them in the cupboard for way longer than I thought. Obviously out-of-date coffee is not like expired fruit or ground beef or something - it doesn't "go bad", but may or may not develop a stale flavour. Some people are fine with this; others gag at the thought. If you're in the latter group I'm sure you won't be calling me... The jar in the front right of the picture has no date that I can find, and it may well not be expired, so that's a small bonus. Take some or all.

Jamieson Probiotic capsules (Davisville)
Expired
Unopened, in-date. I have three of the "10 Billion" and one "2 Billion". These are *not* prescription drugs. Medical/scientific evidence for these is very weak, and they can have unwanted side effects, but some people find them effective. No resellers, please.

New Scientist mags - last chance (Davisville)
Expired
British bi-weekly science magazine. Full years 2015-2022 sorted in cartons with few issues missing here and there, and a some other incomplete older years. These are great for school projects - you can look up science subjects on newscientist.com (but the full articles and pics are behind a paywall), then go to the paper copy and cut & paste or whatever. Lots of high quality articles and pictures. Please keep in mind there are 8-10 shoeboxes of these. I may be able to deliver them in roughly central Toronto. Unfortunately several pickups have fallen through, and these really must go, so it's going to be a sad blue box day if nobody can take them. :-(

Canon BCI-3e inkjet ink (Davisville)
Expired
Two "value-packs" - one with three colour cartridges, the other with two black ones. These are genuine Canon in sealed boxes, but are pretty old, so no garantee. There are also three Staples brand BCI-3e compatible cartridges - one black, one yellow, one magenta (missing cyan). These are in their sealed bags, and I can see the ink is fluid, so probably OK. Please be sure these fit your printer - probably an older Canon model like i560, i550, i555, BJC-3000, BJC-6000, BJC-6100. Google is your friend...

Adult bed rails (hip replacement?) (Davisville)
Gifted
These are two identical very sturdy bed rails often used by someone who has had hip replacement surgery, and must be careful standing up from sitting on the bed edge. The long arms go under the mattress, and can be strapped on (I found it unnecessary). They are not intended to be children's rails to stop kids from rolling out of bed, but they could be used for that also. Pics show them at full height (about 20 inches from the underside of your mattress), but the middle segment can pop out for a lower rail. Like-new condition, very clean, with comfy foam grip.

Mobility devices (hip replacement?) (Davisville)
Gifted
One Moen bath transfer bench. This stands with one end in the tub and the other on the floor outside, allowing someone who can't lift their legs to step into the tub to first sit on the outside end, then swivel and get their feet into the tub. Then they can sit or even stand if you have grab bars and shower. In my experience works best if you get two shower curtains. This is a fancy model, very sturdy, easily cleaned, has all parts. Please note: The max clearance is 19 inches, meaning that the side of your tub must be no higher than this when measured from the floor (not the inside). It has various adjustments, and the seat and support handle can easily be moved to suit which end of your tub the taps/shower are on. These pics are from the Moen website, as the actual unit is behind some stuff at the moment. It's very clean, and will fit in most cars without disassembling it.

Ikea Billy bookcase topper (Davisville)
Gifted
This adds one shelf to the top of the famous Billy bookcase. It may also fit other Ikea units. I don't see it on Ikea's site anymore, but this fits the 24" x 11" size, of any height. To be precise it is 11 5/8" wide x 11" deep x 13 5/8" high. So that last number is how much to add to your current height to see if if fits under the ceiling. :-) There are little hidden holes for pins to lock the add-on to the bookcase so it doesn't come crashing down. I don't have the pins, but almost any cut off nails or the like will work fine. I can probably find some for you if needed. White, as shown. Clean and in very good used condition.
