2 CANON print/scan/copy paper fault (Bridport salway ash DT6)

2 canon printers (only one power cable), both with different paper loading fault. the black CANON pixma 272 laptop would not recognise it for wireless connection so used cable connection. All other features worked fine til one day it would not pick up and feed paper through. The second cream newer CANON MG3550 wireless, and working fine, one day a paper fault - don't remember what but definitely not the same as the pixma 272. I am not up to finding and fixing fault - repair shop too expensive for me. Any good to anyone?
