Free: Unused glass thermometer (Hintonburg) Gifted Mercury free. Takes readings in Fahrenheit and centigrade. Includes protective case. Bought it for someone else who didn’t want it.

Free: Unopened Cetaphil skin cleanser (Hintonburg) For sensitive skin. 220 ml. Don’t know when it was bought, but it doesn’t seem to have an expiry date.

Free: large ceramic bowl (Hintonburg) Sturdy ceramic bowl. Approximately 10 square inches. Good place to store keys and other small items as you come in the door. Has a few very small chips around the edges.

Free: Reversible kid’s bedspread (Hintonburg) Queen size reversible bedspread for a child or a child at heart featuring Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. Predominantly green on one side and predominantly blue on the other. Has a hole slightly bigger than a golf ball that could be patched with a scrap of cotton. Has been laundered, but could use an airing out.

Free: Sleeping bag (Hintonburg) Chocolate brown with green plaid on the underside. Zipper needs fixing, and there are rips along the sides (see photo). Maybe a quilter would like to repurpose it. Or you can mend the sides and just use it as a blanket. Was laundered recently, but an airing wouldn’t hurt it.

Free: Plastic dish w/ compartments (Hintonburg) Expired 3 compartments. dinner plate size. Could be used for food or to store small items. Microwavable. Cover is cracked (see photo) and could possibly be repaired or just use dish without cover.

Free: Mystery object (Hintonburg) Gifted Plastic thingamabob. 14 inches left to right, 9 inches top to bottom. Don’t remember what it’s for. Possibly related to a microwave. Hoping someone has a use for it.

Free: Queen size woollen blanket (Hintonburg) Gifted Pink, blue, yellow, and white pattern. Has lots of pulls on it, but no holes and it will definitely keep you warm. Made in Lachute, Quebec many decades ago. Brand name is Ayers. Very interesting history.

Free: Pure wool blanket (Hintonburg) Gifted 100% virgin wool. Queen size. Main part of blanket is in perfect condition. Extension has a small hole and stains on either side. Could be removed and re-sewn.. Satin border on extension is slightly frayed. Kenmore brand. Made in factory in Arnprior which closed down in 1996 after more than 75 years.

Free: Lightweight reversible quilt (Hintonburg) Expired Queen size. Lime green on one side; royal blue on the other. Two not very noticeable small holes in two of the corners. (See photo). Has been laundered, but could do with an airing.

Free: 3 spatulas (Hintonburg) Gifted Well-used but still have some life in them. The one on the far left has been given away. The second from the left is metal and the two on the right are plastic. Take some or all.

Free: Two spatulas (Hintonburg) Gifted Not 100% sure that the wooden one is a spatula. It’s 12 inches long. The other one is 10 inches long, but the rubber is starting to deteriorate so either or both of these might be better suited for repurposing.

Free: Barbecue tools # 2 (Hintonburg) Gifted Very large BBQ tools. One on left is 18 “, middle one is 16 “ and has a serrated edge and fork is 12”. First two are in very good condition, fork is tarnished. Take one or all.

Free: Woven cloth mat (Hintonburg) Not sure what type of material it’s made of, but it’s washable. Very good shape aside from a few small spots. Measurements available upon request.

Free: comforter (Hintonburg) Expired Queen size comforter. Includes zipper and snaps so it can be worn while reading or watching TV but can also be used the usual way on a bed. Made in Canada. Two small holes on the underside.

Free: Wool blanket (mauve?) (Hintonburg) Gifted Pure wool blanket for single bed. Small hole (see photo.). Made at Kenwood Mills Limited in Arnprior (open in 1929, closed in 1996). Sorry for lousy photo. Can’t decide what colour it is but I think it’s mauve.

Free: Neutrogena face cream samples (Hintonburg) Gifted 5 Neutrogena brand, Hydro boost gel cream. Sample size of 9 mL. Three of them are regular gel cream and two are for extra dry skin. All are unopened. Fragrance free.
