Free: unopened pain remedies (Hintonburg) Helping a friend clear out his medicine cabinet…. These pain remedies are old but, in my experience, they seem to last forever. All of them are still sealed. Free: 2 small baking moulds (Hintonburg) 100% biodegradable. Made in France from wood. A friend got them when she took a course at Cordon Bleu.

Free: Single twin sheets (imperfect) (Hintonburg) 3 different single twin size sheets. Previously used at a cottage. The squirrels got in and had a party. (See photos). All sheets were washed in borax. Flannel fitted sheet with colourful animals on it. Two small stains and two small holes. White cotton fitted sheet. Several small marks. Flannel fitted sheet with Toy Story characters. 4 large acorn stains, and two small holes. Take one or all.

Free: Unopened Indian bay leaves (Hintonburg) Bought these bay leaves by mistake, not realizing they weren’t the regular kind. If you’re not familiar with them, check out for helpful information. They are used in Indian and south east Asian cooking.

Free: Unopened Hydrasense nasal spray (3) (Hintonburg) Gifted Three full containers of unopened hydrogen spray. There are expiry dates on the boxes, but my Internet research revealed that those dates only apply to opened containers because the spray is made from saline and therefore doesn’t expire if it hasn’t been opened. Free: Plastic dish w/ compartments (Hintonburg) 3 compartments. dinner plate size. Could be used for food or to store small items. Microwavable. Cover is cracked (see photo) and could possibly be repaired or just use dish without cover since the cover doesn’t go in the microwave anyhow.

Free: 4 large towels (Hintonburg) There are two identical bath towels with the name Ramsay on them that are in good condition but have some pulls in them. (See first photo). The other two towels are very large and have small acorn stains on them. It may or may not be possible to remove the stains.

Free: Reversible bedspread w/ Tigger (Hintonburg) Save Tigger from the landfill! Queen size reversible bedspread featuring Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. Predominantly green on one side and blue on the other. Has a hole about the size of a golf ball that could be patched with a scrap of cloth.

Free: large ceramic bowl (Hintonburg) Sturdy ceramic bowl. Approximately 10 square inches. Good place to store keys and other small items as you come in the door. Has a few very small chips around the edges.

Free: Lightweight reversible quilt (Hintonburg) Expired Queen size. Lime green on one side; royal blue on the other. Two not very noticeable small holes in two of the corners. (See photo). Has been laundered, but could do with an airing.

Free: Wool blanket with holes (Hintonburg) Expired Virgin wool blanket. A couple of large holes and a small stain. Also the cotton border is ratty, but could be cut off. Hoping someone can repurpose it if no one wants it on their bed. Many decades old.

Free: Sleeping bag (Hintonburg) Expired Chocolate brown with green plaid on the underside. Zipper needs fixing, and the seam is undone in a couple of places along the sides (see photo). Maybe a quilter would like to repurpose it. Or you can mend the sides and just use it as a blanket. Was laundered recently, but an airing wouldn’t hurt it.

Free: Large all-season wreath (Hintonburg) Gifted 19 inches in diameter. Made of strong twigs and decorated with eucalyptus leaves and dried flowers. Metal hook on top for hanging. Needs a good cleaning. Approximately 35 years old but very good condition.

Free: Unused glass thermometer (Hintonburg) Gifted Mercury free. Takes readings in Fahrenheit and centigrade. Includes protective case. Bought it for someone else who didn’t want it.
