- I wanted sponge luffa in my garden this year, so I started the plants indoors about a month ago. They are doing great and I have too many. They grow like most squash, they like sun and well draining soil. I suggest early April as a planting time. They are in soil blocks. Happy gardening!

- I have a lot of firewood to split, and I am doing it all with a 3lb. ax and hammer & wedge. I am looking for a splitting maul to help me get the work done. I can hang a new handle if you only have the maul head. I can sharpen dull blades and clean rusty blades. Let that rusty old thing in your shed see some use! Much appreciated.

Mirror panels (Penn Hills)

- I have about 14 mirror panels. They are all between 7 and 10 inches wide (most are 7 or 8) and 35 to 55 inches tall (most are near 55). They were previously attached to a wall with mastic and these are the panels that survived removal. There is still some mastic on the backs that prevents them from laying completely flat. It can be sanded off but I just haven't.
