Solid wood pieces from old loft bed (W. 77th Street/Col. & Amst.)
Expired
Offering a dismantled TimberNest loft bed purchased and installed in late 2008. It was the most structurally sound and tallest loft at the time (the 4 main posts are 7' tall, 3"X2.25" wide) and its made of solid wood (probably maple). I believe it held up to 450 pounds back in the day. Full size. The wood is not beautiful (scratches etc.) but can be painted or sanded and stained. T. Nest is a family business in Vermont that closed down this particular product a number of years ago because of the impossibility of competing with foreign-made products of much lower quality and price. Hoping someone is interested in the wood either to rebuild it or to use for other projects because of its durability (this is not plywood or particle board). Its possible that an enterprising person can reconstruct it (instructions included) although its missing the bolts which I may yet find (but are easily replaced), the ladder and the mattress slats (which typically come with loft and platform beds). BUT ANYONE WHO WORKS WITH WOOD might be able to use the pieces for other projects and will value its stability. Its quite heavy in total but can be taken in bundles and my son will help bring things downstairs (4 flights). If I get no requests for the entire lot within the week, I will be willing to allow anyone to take as much or as little as desired. Anything remaining pieces will be bundled and put at the curb for sanitation (2 weeks from now). I will of course leave a curb alert. Hoping someone will give this enduring wood a home.

IKEA Pax 37" Komplement drawers (W. 77th Street/Col. & Amst.)
Expired
2 IKEA Pax wooden drawers ((long discontinued) and 2 metal mesh drawers (Komplement)--all missing hardware that allows you to install them on rollers but still usable either on the bottom of the Pax unit or even as an underbed "drawer": 22 (d)x37 (W) x6.25 (h)). Very sturdy and I hate giving them up but no longer have the Pax double unit. And if the specs of the mesh ones are the same as in the catalogue, you can order from IKEA new hardware for which they won't charge you.

Someone can help bring down the 2 secured pieces of the the frame (on a 5th floor walkup). The pickup schedule is open (8:30am--9pm). IKEA Ektorp chair w/Jennylund cover (W. 77th Street/Col. & Amst.)
Gifted
In good condition. The washed cover is very clean of defects. This IKEA small easy chair (approximately 31" wide, 31.5" deep, 34" high) was discontinued several years ago. This chair is not a coverless stand-alone piece as you can see in the 3rd photo and there are still options--mostly eBay) to get a new and different cover. I will not hold this chair for anyone beyond one day after inquiring. And if it is not picked up by Sunday morning I will be putting it on the curb on W. 77th between Columbus and Amsterdam to take advantage of the crowds at the flea and farmers markets. Before Sunday, it will go to the first person who actually picks it up. I will keep a list of inquires and day/times you are available to retrieve it BUT obviously it will go to the person who follows through on the earliest date (with a 1 hour grace period delay before I go to the next inquiry). If you live in this neighborhood it should be fairly easy to pick up without a car (2 people, or a wheeled cart of some sort) but not sure if it will fit in a small car. Will try to help bring it downstairs (5th floor walkup).
