It costs almost nothing to operate and works with/without filters. There’s 3 filters included and they’re not expensive to buy (Amazon etc). It’s silent with a blue led. Under the paint it’s copper coloured and my suspicions are it may actually be copper as it’s not magnetic but I can’t guarantee that. The legs are easily removed for transporting
