Anything for Our New Allotment (Stafford)
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any unwanted gardening or allotment equipment they no longer need and would be happy to give away. I've recently taken on an allotment in Stafford, which I'm hoping to turn into somewhere special for me and my daughter. We've been through an absolutely heartbreaking time as a family. I lost my 15-year-old daughter, and then, less than a year later, we lost the girls' mum too. It's just the two of us now, and if I'm honest, it sometimes feels like the world has carried on around us while we've been left standing still. I'm hoping the allotment will give us something positive to focus on, somewhere we can spend time together, enjoy being outdoors and slowly build something of our own. I'd also love to grow flowers in memory of those we've lost. I've managed to get a few bits of equipment together already, but there's still quite a lot we could use. I'd be really grateful for anything such as: - Spades, forks, rakes, secateurs, loppers or other gardening tools - Wheelbarrows, buckets, watering cans or garden trugs - Water butts, barrels or large water containers - Plant pots, planters and raised bed materials - Compost bins, spare timber, paving slabs or bricks - Seeds, bulbs, plants, cuttings or spare compost - A garden shed, storage boxes or shelving - A greenhouse (polycarbonate or plastic only, as glass isn't allowed) - A polytunnel or anything similar - Garden chairs, a bench or somewhere to sit - Or absolutely anything else that might be useful on an allotment! I'd especially love to find a little shed or greenhouse. Although I'll be honest, I haven't got the first clue how to dismantle one and put it back together! 😂 But I'm more than willing to learn, and any advice or guidance would be appreciated. Things don't need to be new or perfect. I'm happy to clean things up or give them a bit of TLC, as long as they're still usable. I also want to reassure anyone offering something that everything will be for our own allotment. I'm not collecting things to sell on. Money is quite tight at the moment, so I thought it was worth asking in case anyone has anything sitting unused that they'd like to see put to good use. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Any help, however small, would mean a lot to us.

Vintage Children's Bedroom Set (Breadsall DE21)
Consisting of a chest of drawers, and COMBINED wardrobe /dressing table. It's been well loved by at least three children that we know of, and it's time for it move on and find some more. It might be a wonderful up-cycling project for someone. Chest of drawers is: 31 1/2" (80cm) high, 25" (64cm) wide and 16" (41cm) deep. The wardrobe/ dressing table is:62 1/4" (159cm) high, 40" (102cm) wide and 15" (38cm) deep. Within that the dressing table section is 20" (50cm) wide and 25" (64cm) high. The wardrobe has a pull out hanging rail. Hoping to arrange collection on a Wednesday, between 12 & 2-30 subject to exact time (it's not at my house). But may be able to do other days by arrangement. Please note that you WILL need a van, and because it's not at my house, an exact time. Please say why you want it.
