broken string instruments (New Marston OX3)
I’m restoring / repairing / looking after unloved violins and violas - the kind that are deemed of zero value because getting them repaired by a professional would cost more than the refurbished instrument would be worth. So if anybody within the Oxford Ring Road has any broken or otherwise unloved / neglected string instruments (violin, viola, cello) languishing in the attic or standing in their way, I'd like to pick them up to restore or use for spares / practice etc. I have now managed to restore more than 30 (including some found through Freegle). I currently have space to take on a few more. Also happy to take children’s sized violins and violas as well as string-playing accessories such as bows, cases, etc (Shortage of bows and cases currently limits how many I can give away.)

Free to a good home: a rectangular garden trampoline with safety net and ladder, all in good working order. Our kids had years of brilliant fun on it and we'd love it to go to another family who'll enjoy it just as much. It's only going because we've moved abroad. It's in the front garden of a house in New Marston, with easy access straight from the street, so someone can simply come and collect it. The taker just needs to dismantle it and move it (it's obviously a big item, so a lorry and an extra pair of hands would help). Available any time. Happy to share the exact house number once we've arranged a time.

Hi, I have several bikes which need repair. I was planning on repairing them and selling them, but in the end have to accept that I will never get round to it! There is a Dawes single speed straight handlebar bike with Reynolds 500 tubing that needs new inner tubes, lubrication etc. There is another good oldish single speed Dawes bike . A ladies/young woman's bike, with dereilleur Possible a couple of others.
