We have rigged a zip tie in the area for attaching a shoulder strap, which helps (see picture). Automatic string feeder doesn't work, but bumping is effective. Vintage Handy Things Mfg. Co. Tree Stand, Model #14 in used - good condition. Heavy duty folding metal tree stand with tripod legs for medium to large trees with up to 4” diameter trunks. Best suited for trees 5’ to 7’ tall. Tripod legs spread 23” wide, which provides a stable platform, and slide up to fold for easy storage. Red metal water container (4” W x 8” D) has screw bolts and internal base spike for securing tree trunk and holds lots of water for live trees. Heavy duty green plastic tree stand in good condition, HMS Mfg. Co. Model H-100. Two-level screw design holds tree securely. Has all six screws but one screw is missing the plastic end pad, which doesn’t affect the functionality. Interior cup holds water for live tree. Base diameter 16-1/4”, 7-1/2” H. Received previously from another person on Trash Nothing. The stand worked well, but we switched to an artificial tree.
