My wife purchased this lovely vidaXL Wooden French Secretary Desk from Robert Dyas (), but it arrived with several defects. We received a refund and were told not to return it, so we’re hoping someone who enjoys furniture repair or upcycling can give it a new life instead of it going to waste. Condition / Issues * The drawer doesn’t fully close once the legs are attached * The front flap/table doesn’t come all the way down * A few paint imperfections on the finish Otherwise structurally solid and a great candidate for someone with the right tools/skills Good Bits * Beautiful French‐style design * Solid feel and nice proportions * Fully boxed back up for easy transport Ideal for: upcyclers, DIYers, students, hobby woodworkers, or anyone who likes restoring furniture Pickup * Location: Maidenhead (SL6) * Ground‐floor access, easy to load * Free to whoever can collect If you’d like it, just message me and I’ll arrange a pickup time.
