🚨 Tech enthusiast building a homelab — in need of PC parts + networking gear 🚨 I’m a passionate tech learner currently building a homelab to develop real-world IT, networking, and PC building skills. I enjoy taking old or unused hardware and turning it into fully working systems for hands-on learning and experimentation. Right now I’m limited by budget, so I’m reaching out to see if anyone has spare or unused PC parts (GPUs, CPUs, RAM, motherboards, PSUs, storage, cases, etc.) or networking equipment (routers, switches, servers, cables, NICs, etc.) just sitting around. Even older or non-working gear is still useful for projects and learning. I’m based in Moortown, but I can travel to collect within Leeds and surrounding areas, including Bradford, Dewsbury, Harrogate, and nearby towns. Nothing will be resold — everything goes directly into my homelab builds and learning setups. I’m genuinely grateful for anything offered, even if it’s just old or unused kit. There's a horse chestnut tree planted itself in my allotment and I don't want it there. It is small enough to dig up and at last look, is not yet too late in the spring to do it, but it needs to be done soon... or maybe next year a bit earlier. Do the rules here allow us to request a contribution for a pot? If nobody comes for it tomorrow, that may be the best solution, but it'll need quite a big pot and they're quite pricey...

Cassette Music Tapes, Pre-recorded (Harrogate HG1)
A large shoe box full of cassette tapes, almost all pre-recorded/commercially recorded music, plus the odd home recording (also music). Music of various genres - classical, opera, folk, French 'chansons' etc, American folk, traditional (e.g. Austrian, Russian, etc), instrumental, vocal, etc etc. N.B. I have listened to both sides of every single cassette over the last few months. All stretched/worn out cassettes have been binned. If the taker discovers poor quality recordings, then either the cassette has given up its ghost after my recent check, or my standards are lower than than the taker's!! They all sound either very good or good to me. I am still going through more cassettes which are not shown in the photo. These will be added to the collection being offered. Eventually, in not too long from now, hopefully, I will also be offering the cassette player with which I am testing all of these cassettes. Feel free to express an interest in that now.

Vintage wooden 16 inch block plane (Knaresborough HG5)
This is a 16inch vintage wooden block plane. It is stamped on one end with the marks of CT Skelton & Co Sheffield, and also stamped with G P Preston & Sons of Sheffield. Manufacturer and dealer respectively? - I'm not sure as it isn't my field. Blade is surface rusted and there are some paint marks and dings. These only fetch a few quid online as they are still quite common and tool collecting is a bit niche, so not worth me selling really. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.
