'Elbow' crutch (Sutton SS4) Adjustable 'elbow' crutch . 'Elbow' crutch means it's a crutch that you hold with your hand (not your armpit!) but it had a curved bit at the top that fits round your arm, to stabilise it - see pictures. The height is adjustable so that from the FLOOR to the HANDLE, it can be fixed between 28 inches and 35 inches. There is a red reflector at the end of the handle. Belonged to my late mother, who used it a great deal, as it was very supportive. I'm near the Anne Boleyn Pub, Rochford.
