Mariner 4 Mars Photos. According to Mariner 4 performed the first successful flyby of the planet Mars, returning the first close-up pictures of the Martian surface. These are the original photos produced by JPL. The first image I uploaded is an index for the Mariner photos. The next two images I uploaded are the front and back of picture #13. There were 22 in all, but some of the best ones are missing from this collection. Provenance: Lew Kaplan was my mentor/boss/friend. When he retired I received these photos. He was a scientist at JPL during the Mariner time frame and was active in research of the Mars atmosphere. Here's an account of some of that research: .

A beautiful, much beloved Tivoli AM/FM table radio that we replaced with a new music system. Still in very good working order - walnut casing with a cream faceplate. (There is a minor scuff mark on one corner of the casing.) This is a manually-tuned radio with NO BLUETOOTH capability. You've got to turn the dial to pick up a station. The external antenna is the basic wire type, *not* the straight metal retractable kind. A variety of old pots, pans, and misc cookware that were crammed in a cupboard and unused for 5-10 years. Most are still usable but in middling condition. All items have been cleaned multiple times!, soaked in dish soap and hot water overnight twice, and scrubbed with vinegar, but some still have rust/imperfections that won't budge. Anything with a motor I haven't tested. ** I'll be putting everything out near the sidewalk tomorrow for anyone to grab, but happy to hold onto specific items until Wed if you can pick it up before then. After Wed, it'll all go to the sidewalk box. :) **

OB dry bag in decent shape. The neoprene and buckles are intact but the canvas fabric at the bottom of the bag has frayed and needs repair. I've been using duct tape but maybe you are handy with a needle. Oh, and for some reason the cat really liked it so it's got some fluff on it. Anyway, good for something to someone hopefully.
